what do you think would've happened if connor realized jaron was. well. jaron. i just had an idea of an au where connor realizes that sage is jaron, but idrk what that would actually change (aside from the obvious things)

Unless word already got out that Jaron was alive, I think Conner would have tried to kill him since that was what he had already intended before by hiring the pirates to kill Jaron when he was younger. He needed a false prince to put on the throne who would obey his commands, and if the true prince was there then his plan would fail. So I think Jaron would probably realize that and try to escape? Or if word already got out, Conner would try to bargain with him in a way so that he would later be able to follow through with his plan of bringing Darius back to the throne, revealing Darius's identity, and becoming the king himself.

Also if Conner realized it, then Mott probably would have too, so he would probably try to avert Conner's plans and help Jaron get his true throne.

Also that little liquid is supposed to represent dervanis oil. It’s red for dramatic effect but im sure the actually liquid is like clear considering what it does😭 but yeah!! We love creative liberty :3

When I make these designs I literally like completely forget how they’re described in the book and js use my own interpretation— hence why I drew roden with like redder hair instead of dirty blond. I js like imagining things and putting them on digital paper :3

still wondering if Darius being conners son was preplanned from the start cuz I mean there is some foreshadowing MAYBE but like captive kingdom has a lot of js random shit from what I remember so it could’ve been neilsen grasping at straws. I still really like the idea, js curious.
