Beware of Scams!
Hey everyone! Just wanted to post a warning as this is the second time a scam account tried to scam me. I don't know if they are attracted to me or the fact when they tried to contact me, but it was through posts I mention I was feeling scared/uneasy.
Anyhow, if you ever see a comment on a post that is completely unrelated to the post or seems too good to be true, it's probably a scam. If you are unsure if the comment is a scam, you can try to talk to them to see their response, but I suggest you block em if they ask you to pay for something, move to a different website, and/or ask for private information. If you want to check their profiles/pages, I have found scams accounts usually only reblog a group of random posts for a few days and seem pretty barren else wise.
I'm not exactly an expert at spotting scams though, so I suggest you go follow or at least check out accounts dedicated to spotting and informing people about scams as well as how to avoid them (I follow scam-alerts here on Tumblr due to how big and informed they are, but you can follow anyone who is teaching about scams.).
