could you make the reaction of the wammy's boys to see that they had a large family?
Hello Dear Anon!!! Ok, so you want to know how they would react to finding out they had a large family before they went to Wammy’s? Cool! Let’s go!
L
He’s surprised. He has no recollection of them at all. He doesn’t remember a lot from when he was small. (To me, he remembers flickers of his parents & the people that hurt him after they died.)
If they’re alive:
Wants to find his siblings. He doesn’t want to know them, but he wants to know what happened to them.
Investigates all extended family members. Again, he doesn’t reach out to them. He has his life the way it is now and doesn’t want to disturb that. He also would not want to put them in any danger, but he would want to know about them.
He would meet them under an assumed identity to get information about his parents. He doesn’t want them to know he’s who he is.
Mello
Always felt that he had a large family. He had vague memories of several others around him. He’s pretty sure he had a brother and a sister.
If they’re alive:
He wants to find his siblings. He wants answers. Why were they split up? Where did they end up? What exactly happened to their parents?
He also wants to find them because he knew they were missing from his life. (Matt always felt like the brother he was supposed to have.)
Near
Can’t remember anything before Wammy’s, so he is neither surprised nor happy. They have no real meaning or context to him. (I HC that Near went to Wammy’s very young and only remembers vague things about his parents.)
If they’re alive:
Doesn’t want to know them. Nothing has change for him.
If they find out about him and want to meet him, he is willing to do so, but isn’t going to seek them out.
Matt
Is kind of glad he isn’t alone in the world.
If they are alive:
He would be glad to meet them, but doesn’t want a super close relationship,
He has his own life, but would like to see them now and then, maybe spend some time together for holidays now and then.
BB
Doesn’t really care. He’s got his own thing going on.
If they’re alive:
He wants to know why the hell no one came for him? Why did they leave him in a crappy orphanage when he could have been with his own family.
Now I`m reading Another Note, and one part from this book doesn`t want to get out of my head. I`m talking about a scene where L is asking Naomi about is a mysterious detective a cool guy? His interest in Beyond seems to be sincere. I know that he couldn`t know exactly that all these murders were committed by Beyond Birthday, but can we suggest that L found out somehow, that Beyond was responsible for these crimes, and he just wanted to know Misora`s opinion about him.
