1. A reveal of the new vision for Dragon Quest 12, with gameplay, having scrapped the original more mature direction of Flames of Fate from 2021, in favor of a more traditional Dragon Quest story, especially after the passing of the late Akira Toriyama, who gave the franchise its iconic style, and Koichi Sugiyama, who gave it its enchanting musical voice.

2. A reveal, with extensive gameplay, of the final entry in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, whose original is one of, if not the highest regarded JRPG of all time, which came out in the golden era of JRPGs.

3. A reveal of the new numbered entry in the Persona franchise, a literal decade after the previous one, with fans seeing spinoff after spinoff of the previous being released.

The 3 biggest (non-monster-catching) JRPG franchises, with entries that calling highly anticipated would be underselling them.

HUGE week (actually a bit more than a week) for JRPG fans.

dream anon here! it's been a few days so i don't remember much but the basic plot was that we were on this indoor trolley/rollercoaster machine thing with eye imagery in the design. i was trying to escape the trolley because it was moving really fast (im afraid of rollercoasters) and he was being Very Menacing about how "now this is gonna get REALLY strange." generally imagine having to hang on the outside of a fast trolley while beyond birthday threatens you from the inside its not fun

oh!! wow..........this is very interesting, how your brain chose a generally creepy character to perform on your nightmare - again, im sorry you had a nightmare, im just very interested in dream imagery

The whole story is so atmospheric, and really emphasizes that Spock is, after all, an alien, with a different culture and a different way of thinking than humans. The scenes between Spock and Kirk are some of the most loving and erotic I've ever read. This story really stayed with me after I finished it.“ (x)

Beyond Dreams 2: After a hard day at school, a young man named Tenchi Willis decides to work on his robotics science project. He finds himself missing his deceased parents and reminisces on the great memories they had together. They always promised to take him to space. Tenchi goes on the porch, wishing that he had a friend to explore space with. His wish comes to life, and turns his project, Omega, into a sentient android who wants to see Tenchi's wish come true. 

These are some style frames that I tested out for my thesis film Beyond Dreams. I’m currently working on the animation for it, but I’d love for everyone to check out part 1 and see how far I’ve come with the concept, and designs.
