Boyfriend!Hoshi

Ok so we all know Hoshi is very friendly and outgoing, but then when he has a crush?

He becomes shy, nervous and kinda erratic

He would try and tell you about his feelings ALL the time, but he could never quite get it out right

So he’d be like “Hey, Y/n, I really like you!” But then he’d panic when he saw your shock and he’d add “Like a sister!” and then he’d laugh awkwardly, hitting your arm before walking away

So expect weeks of him complimenting you then being like “Ahh, I’m such a good friend, boosting my friends self-esteem” in a really exaggerated way

By the end of the weeks, you wouldn’t be sure if his compliments were sincere anymore since he laughed them off awkwardly and he’d leave you feeling really confused

So you might drift away from him a bit, because who wants people constantly complimenting them only to backtrack and laugh about it?

So he would freak out and be so upset

Had he upset you? Had you found someone else? Were you just not interested in him anymore?

When he was still around you he would be more quiet, but he would compliment you sincerely sometimes

But they’d be quiet, just “Your hair looks lovely today” “Your outfit’s cute” “Your makeup is nice”

And boy did it make your heart flutter when he mumbled these cute little things to you, so quiet you could hardly even hear them

So then one day he would just come to you, trying to confess again, but he’d panic and start stuttering and you would just have to be like “Hoshi, just say whatever it is you want to say”

Since you’d sit patiently and wait he would actually get it out this time, glad that you were being so understanding with him

He would take a deep breath and then just say it all, talking about how much he liked you and how much he thought about you, and how he’d like to take you on a date some time

And this time when he spoke he was certain, his words sure as he looked at you

He would go silent as he waited for your reaction, his eyes gleaming with hope and pride that his speech had come out so great

And ofc you’d say yes because hello? It’s Hoshi?

Fast-forward 6 months and you’re still dating

And Hoshi is just the cutest, softest, squishiest boyfriend!

Hoshi has so much enthusiasm when it comes to you

The moment he sees you he has a massive grin on his face and he will run up to you and hug you

And he kisses your cheek all the time, especially when you smile

Sometimes he just leans against you

Like he presses his nose into your cheek and just sits there, watching your reaction, his arms around your waist

There is hardly a moment when he’s not grinning at you

Probably the best emotional support system

He listens to what you say

Like, he will turn off the TV or put down his phone and turn to you when you talk

And then he’ll remember all you have to say, and he’ll bring it up later

He remembers more about your life than you do tbh, and he shows loads of enthusiasm for what you do

He loves to just message you like We’re going out today, put on some clothes. Be there in 15

You two usually go to really random events

Cheese festival? You two are going, and you’ll get face paint when you’re there

He likes to take you two to markets, and he will literally spend hours going through all the little stalls, trying to find really cute things to buy for each other

Hoshi always seems to have his hands in your hair

Sometimes he gets his fingers tangled in your hair because he twirls it around so much

Literally plaits your hair all the time, you could just be sitting down and then you will have like 10 plaits in your hair, sticking up all over the place

Hoshi doesn’t buy you flowers, but he goes out into the park and picks them for you. He ends up bringing you kind of messy bunches, but because he chooses them for you, it’s impossible not to love them

Especially when he tells you he chose the flowers because he thought they matched your hair, or would bring out the colour of your eyes

Halloween is all about couples costumes, but they’re usually quite cute and playful

And Christmas is just an event where you give each other loads of small, random stuff and bake food together and just enjoy being in each-others company, drinking hot chocolate with marshallows

Hoshi takes 500 selfies with you a month, and he never deletes a single one of them

You’ll be sat eating breakfast and he’ll rush up and take a photo with you

But he’d choose his favourite photos and put them in a scrapbook

And this scrapbook has little stickers, words in sparkly gel-pens and cute little decorations because he’s all about arts and crafts

Likes to cuddle with you a lot, but he’s too restless so he’s always wiggling around

But no matter what position you’re in, his limbs end up tangled around you like a cute koala bear

He steals your clothes a lot too

But you steal his, so it doesn’t really matter that much

You basically share half your wardrobes

And he leaves you the soppiest love notes ever that make you cringe so hard

But he’s pretty low maintenance, as long as you show him some attention and affection every now and then, he doesn’t care about anything else

He is just the squishiest, softest boyfriend who is always there to listen to you and help you and make you smile.
