[onf-headcanons]

ONF return home finding you asleep while waiting for them

ONF ended their comeback and WM gave them a few days off, so ONF member do not return to their dorm and come home to see you. They straightly return to you once they finished their final schedule. The news was spontaneously given from WM management by early evening and ONF member texted you that he will be heading home.

(Should you are imagining this hc for BB era, I would add that you have a small celebration party prepared. Not gonna add to all) But due to traffic ONF member end up being late. ONF member did tell you not to stay up but you still did because you don't your preparation to go waste and you missed them very much.

ONF member open the door to find lights are still on. While you are sitting on the couch, sound asleep.

Hyojin

The moment he opens the door seeing lights are on he lowkey nags : "Aah...I told xer/m not to wait..."

He steps in the house while calling out your name but there is no reply.

He finds you on the couch and he sees the cake on the table while a message written "Congrats on first win!" He immediately lets out a warm smile as he sees it.

He calls your name again while wondering why you are not responding. And he comes closer to look at you thinking you might be with your earphones on while watching Youtube. Only to find you asleep.

He puts down his bag and his jacket (if its cold) and proceed to sit next to you. He gives himself a few seconds gazing at you sleeping face before he reaches out to your head.

Hyojin then gives you a few ruffles to you hair while calling out your name. "Y/N-ah? Y/N-ah..." And you finally wake up.

He smiles at you the moment both your eyes met, and says " I am home."

You realize you end up sleeping when you just wanted to rest your eyes for a bit. You hurriedly welcome him home and showed him the cake. Hyojin thank you for your effort and suggests to have the cake tomorrow since it is 2am now.

He then stands up from the couch while holding your hands. Slightly pulling you up as a cue for you to stand up. "Now. You. Off to bed, I will join you later." And he kisses you on your cheek before you left the living room.

Changyoon

Deep down, Changyoon is happy when he found out the lights are still on. His face immediately brightens up just by the thought of seeing your face for the next moment.

Calls out your name as he walks towards the living room and found you sound asleep. (You did not prepare cake but you prepared a small gift)

"Mwoya? Chani?/ What? Xe's asleep?" he unconsciously mutters as look at your sleeping face.

Maybe he would take his phone from his pocket and snap a photo of you sleeping lol. But seeing that sound of camera snapping did not wake you up, he suddenly felt sorry for making you wait.

Changyoon sits beside you and then holds your one of your hand as he taps on your shoulder while calling out your name to wake you up.

You finally awake and surprised seeing Changyoon's presence the moment you wake up, you rub your eyes while welcoming home. With a smiley face you listen to his nagging for staying up to wait for him.

Feeling happy that he is in front of you again you lean towards him to give him a big hug. And it made Changyoon dumbstruck, while giggling he backs up a little and cups your face to observe, "Y/N-ah? Are you half sleeping??"

Seungjun

Knowing you waited for him as he sees the lights are still on. With a fond and anticipating tone, "Y/N-ah? I am home~~" he calls out your name hoping for a response.

But its just silence. He begin to wonder if you purposely left the lights on so that it won't be dark for him. Seungjun knows he is the one who tell you not to wait up, but he still feels a bit disappointed because he could not see your bright smile the first thing he reaches home.

He comes to the living room and sees you at the couch, sleeping. As he saw you, the corners of his lips raises with happiness. He quickly drops his belongings on the other couch as he comes near you.

He lowers himself to squat in front of you and gently holds your hands while rubbing your skin with his thumb. Playfully, he blows toward you face hoping it will wake you up, seeing you not budge at all he just smirks. He then calls out your name again while lightly squeezes your hands.

You felt something and then you jolt awake, the first thing you see is Seungjun looking up towards your eyes, with his usual smile and his soft giggles.

You smile at him and pulls out one of your hand to pat his head. "Welcome home, how long have you been watching me sleeping?"

"Just arrived home."he replies as he stands up to sit by your side, opening his arms to hug you. "But you should just go to bed instead of waiting for me."

"I was thinking to congratulate you on your first win the first thing you came home. Congrats on first win Seungjunnie." you congratulate him as you wrap your arms around his waist and he kisses your forehead.

"Thank you." Seungjun responds while lands a light peck on your lips, "It's late now, lets head to bed."

Jaeyoung

"Mwoya?" at the moment Jaeyoung sees the lights are still on.

He steps into the living room with bright expression, hoping to see you. Close enough, its your sleeping face.

"Aigoo, this is why I told you not to wait up." Jaeyoung mutters in low tone. He drops his belongings on the table lightly (bonus could not bother to undress his jacket/coat) and approaches you.

Without a word, he slowly shoves his hands behind you back and under your thigh. Then he gently lifts you up from the couch and bridal carry you back to bedroom without waking you up. He tucks you in bed and before he leaves the room, he slightly brushes your hair at your forehead and kisses you.

Should you awake after a slight moment he lifts you up. You smile at him while welcome his return.

"Looks like someone misses me very much to the extent they even stayed up to wait for me." Jaeyoung teases you with an eyebrow raised. "Thank you."

Embarassed after hearing his words, you lift your arms and wrap around his neck, burying your head into his shoulder.

"Well I did not knew you will be this late..." you complain while tightening your hug. "I missed you."

Minkyun

Since you are asleep, the first to greet Minkyun welcome home is pet(cat or dog up to you)

Minkyun lowers himself to pet the being affectionately while asking your whereabouts. He knows you are awake as the lights are still on

The pet leads him to living room and near the couch. Minkyun can't see you yet because you are sitting on the couch that is facing the opposite direction.

Your pet comes near you and scurries around your leg, it did not successfully wake you up. At the same time, Minkyun comes near you while calling out your name.

"Mwoya? You were asleep?" he noticed immediately and quickly picks up the pet and sits next to you. He could just wake you up normally but he feeling a bit playful

Minkyun brings the pet closer to your face and let it licks you. Feeling something on your face, you finally wake up to a familiar voice calling out your name. You turn your head towards the face and its Minkyun holding the pet while smiling fondly at you.

He reaches out to you to comb your hair as it is a bit messy. While at it, he apologies for coming home late. You smile and shakes your head. Minkyun lets go of the pet as he stands up. "I will join you in bed after washed up, you should head to bed now."

Don't want to part with him yet, you open up and lift your arms towards him, "Anajyeo/A hug please?." You request. You thought he is going to hug you while pulling you up from the couch. Instead, with giggling noises Minkyun bridal carry you back to bedroom.

Yuto

Yuto knows you are not going to head to bed without him should he is coming home. So the moment he sees lights are still on, he kind off expected it.

Yuto mutters low voice "Tadaima/I'm home." and then head towards living room. The view of you sleeping while sitting on the couch appeared before his eyes.

He could not help but let out a smirk as he puts down his belongings. Yuto approaches you and sits beside you.

He reaches out to your face and gently poke your cheek. Then with his finger, he pushes away your bangs to show your eyes while calling out your name. Seeing you still asleep, he gently pats your shoulder and lightly shakes you.

You heard your name being called and you open your eyes. Yuto slides his hand to grasp yours as he sees you finally awake.

"Welcome home Yuto." you greet him with a smile while placing another hand of yours on his. "You are late." you pout at him

To make you feel better, Yuto leans forward to give you a hug. While at it, he lands some light pats on your back. "Sorry traffic was worst than expected "

He then breaks off the hug and gets up from the couch, "Come on you should be sleeping on bed, not the couch."

Love languages (Hugs)

Hyojin

I think this might happen when he is leaving the house. While holding hands he will pulls you towards him. The second before he apply force to pull you closer, he will suggests you two to hug for a bit

At first you will softly thumps to his chest but now you know how to adjust. Your hands are always clinging to the fabric at his waist area

His arms are wrapped around your shoulders, and the angle if perfect for him to comb your hair or pat your head

Always ends the hug with a soft kiss on each others lips before breaking off the hug with both smiling at each other

Changyoon

He would just quietly (not sneakingly) slides his arms around your waist as he approaches you from your side

Happens alot if you two are sitting on the couch watching TV or he is trying to show you affection while you are minding your own business

With the correct angle he might pulls your head towards his shoulder so that your head are resting on his shoulders. And then wraps his arms around you

Randomly kisses on your forehead (this one also kinda established in the pda headcanon)

Seungjoon

Back hugs (like I established before that he likes to ruffle your hair as he approaches from back when he comes near you. The next move should you two are at home will be back hug)

If you are smol he is going to rest his chin on you head and his arms are around your waist. But normally he will rest his head on your shoulders so that his whole body is hugging you

Pulling you closer towards him so it's actually tightly hugging your waist so that you cannot escape

Personally I think he will say, "Let me recharge for a bit." Bonus he might sniffs your hair if you just finished shower

Jaeyoung

He smiles, opens his arms wide and ask Can I have a hug from you?

Could happen very randomly. I did established that he is not the super clingy type and has boundaries. So more oftenly is him initiating while asking you.

But your personal fave would be he just randomly opens up his arms wide while sitting on the couch waiting for you to join him

Wraps his arms around your shoulders and hugs you tightly

Sometimes even could not hold himself back and he bends a forward while hugging you

Ends the hug with him saying "Saranghae "

Minkyun

The one that will goes, "Anajyo~~/Hug me~~" while opening wide his arms. Happens randomly.

He would come near you, but not awfully close, a small distance will be kept. Open his arms and let you go to him.

Loves it when you hug him from front. Big smiles if not soft giggles from him as he wraps his arms around your shoulders

Rip your ears when he is hugging you and he starts to wiggle a bit out of happiness. Should that happens it always accompanied with his happy squeals. (1116db so rip)

Ends the hug with Minkyun asking you to initiate a kiss at his cheek (sometimes he is just pranking you and he kisses you on the lips instead)

Yuto

Established before in the kissing onf and tell then its a spell to make them look good headcanon, Yuto giving out morning hugs if you are the one who wakes him up

He is sitting on bed while hugging your waist, waiting for him to completely wake up

To elaborate and add more. I could see Yuto is the type to initiate slightly timid than his hyungs. Also another back hug person.

He would come close to you from back curious at what you are doing, then rests his hands on your shoulders. Or even tried to massage your shoulders before sliding his arms more to pull you closer to him

His hugging sessions are mostly brief. But you can voice out so that you can hug him longer

Ends with him kissing you on your cheek

A/N : Feeling writing fluff for the boys quite sometime and this is at my draft for some days already. idk if i am gonna make this into another series but the next one i am going to write would be Holding hands.

ONF IN TRYING TO GAIN THEIR S/O ATTENTION

HYOJIN

You are focused on current activity your doing. He will brings himself get closer to you. Eyes peeking on what you are onto. Maybe even combs your hair with his fingers. He won’t say a thing or break your concentration until you turn your gaze towards him. Once both of your eyes meet, he immediately ask you how is the progress/how have you been doing with the activity. Will give out reactions especially his signature long “Ooooooooh” when you show him your progress/share with him what you have been immersed at.

If you are playing a game, he will chuckle a bit when seeing you fail, then giving out comments like "Awww, thats too bad you almost got it. You want my help?"

CHANGYOON

He might lowkey try to stare at you as he sits beside you. His eyes wavering between your face and the activity you are focused on, trying to find a timing to say a thing or two.

Would timidly plays/tugs at the hem of your shirt checking out the tag or such.

Even attempt to blow at your face but you stopped from doing it. (He might pout a bit if you did not budge) Maybe he even do the thing he did during mini game season 2 1116, where he plays with his spectacle, making it moving up and down trying to make you laugh.

But if you started the conversation his face will brighten up immediately. Might rest his chin on your shoulder but not gonna land full weight on it.

SEUNGJOON

Maybe you are dealing with your stuff on the couch and he is watching TV while sitting on the floor, with his back leaning at your legs (using them as a cushion). Either he turns off the TV or you requested him. He will lift his head a bit to constantly checks on you. (his head will conveniently rest on your knees when he does that)

If he wants to escalate thing to another level, he might turns and kneels toward you and rests his chin in your knees,and tells you that he is bored.

Feeling a bit prankish, he maybe will tickle your toes, of course depending on what activity you are doing, maybe trying to win a cart game or working out on a sudoku.

JAEYOUNG

He will most probably gaining your attention by over reacting if you are playing games lol. But if you are doing something quiet, he will try not to bother you. If possible, he will get closer to you and pulls you into his arms, letting your head resting on his chest. Mostly it will be you suggested it.

Occasionally sniffing your hair or giving gentle kiss on your forehead. If you are reading a book he will try to read with you, and when you are trying to flip pages, he will stop you saying he hasn't finish the page yet. You might being skeptical as you are already halfway through the book and wondering if he understands the plot.

He might goes, "Nah I am, just curious that what kind of story that can make you so immersed. Maybe lend it to me once you finished?"

MINKYUN

This boy, I swear. Don't even...

Well its not like he cannot be quiet or left alone, but its just he cannot sit still and keep feeling prankish hahaha (you know, being a cat). Playing your hair is a must and smuggling too close that it kinda affects your focus lol, also keep asking you if you need anything.

If he is in the mood of totally bothering you, he will tickle you so that you had to drop down what you are doing.

But if he decides not to bother you, he will lie down and rest his head on your lap. Either he turns to his side and plays his on his phone, or maybe he will take a nap.

If he gets bored with his activities, he will push himself up, pouts a bit because you are still concentrating at your own business. At this time he will starts calling out your name, trying to get at least small portion of your attention towards him.

YUTO

Yuto will just approach quietly, maybe hugging a cushion or plushie in his arms before leans his shoulder towards yours and takes a curious peak. Then he will turn his gaze away, as a gesture not to bother you, then he will rests his chin on the cushion or plushie.

But his eyes are locked at your face. If he noticed your hair is bothering your view or blocked his view, he will comb it and tuck it behind your ears. If you thank him, he will immediately break into an affectionate grin.

If he is trying to "fish" your attention, he would look for some funny vids or watch ONF funny daily recorded vid and laugh out heartily. It was so contagious and it spiked your curiosity that you can't help it and drop your focus towards the task you are on.

Aslo, he totally will ask if he can have a look as well. If its a video, you two are gonna sharing comment while watching it.

Love languages (Expressing thanks)

This is a 2 in 1 headcanon (BF ONF or S/O ONF and PAPA ONF)

Scenario could be you bought something they wanted for a long time

Or even the moment you let them know that you are pregnant.

Hyojin

Letting a signature look ( ﾟO   ﾟ ) of his while eyebrows raised due to surprise but break into a laugh instantly.(Refer the face he made during Weekly Idol in SS era where Seungjun scares him and the face he made at part 2 of their Berlin adventures where tour at a church dome) Both hands raised up to cover his mouth a bit and then ask you   "Really? /Jinjja ro?" (unconsciously letting out a happy squeal is a bonus). And then reaches out to cup your face before landing a kiss on your lips. Because it is him, it will never end with 1 kiss until you tell him to stop. With happy chuckles, he then only saying Thank you with soft and gentle voice.

Changyoon

He just straight up pauses and freezes lol. (Refer to the BTS video where they got first win lol) Looks at you lovingly. You could notice he is getting teary eyed (due to your effort or the news of he is now a dad). And then gave in towards his bursting emotions while doing his iconic eye smile + wide smile. Says thank you with a trembled voice. Then kisses you at your cheek and hugs you while lowkey wiping his tears.(Bonus you lightly teasing him being a crybaby and he retorts you by “Musun sori yo, Kippeuso gurae/What are you saying? These are tears of happiness!”)

Seungjun

Widen eyes, and with his iconic “Ooh??” (Bonus if he is mouthing it and no sound coming out from him lol) . Then the shape of his mouth turns into a smile, he lets out a chuckle but quickly says his signature “Time.” and pose then nervously ask you if the whole situation is real. Done digesting he could not hold in his smile, if its a gift he could not stop fidgeting it. His one hand is cupping your face while caressing your cheek with his thumb. He then would move to take your hand and holds your hand tightly. While at it he would go, “ Aooh, jinjja,,,choigo ya no/Aww, really you...are the best” then pulls you closer to hug you. 

Jaeyoung

At first he would cover lower part of his face a bit trying to digest. “Jinjja ya? Is this real?” he asks you. Then while smiling widely, he reaches out to your hand and grasps it firmly. Should you two are sitting beside each other, he would pull your hand towards him and place both his and your hand on his thigh, before turning his gaze to look at your eyes. After a few blinks, he would calmly say thank you then open up his arms to let you hug him. While at it he will pats you on your shoulder or your back while sniffing your scent.

Minkyun

Hugs you immediately, happily giggling and wiggling sideways while thanking you. (Not in a harsh motion) Bonus if his feet could not keep still, he might do a mini stomping at the spot before wiggling while hugging you. Your words are muffled by the fabric of his clothes lol. Pushes you a bit to look at you fondly, hands on your shoulders firm but not tightly grasping. Might lift 1 of his hand to brush your cheek with his palm while thanking you. Then could not hold back and hugs you tightly again.  He will kisses your head/hair and the corner of his lips never come down for the whole day.

Yuto

His iconic laughing while covering his mouth (not a long time laugh, just a short woah hahas). Then grasps both his hands together while pursuing his lips trying to digest his emotions while muttering “Majide? Really? (in Japanese)". His eyes gotten even bigger, once he gets his confirmation (the gift or the news) he will open wide his arms and come close to you to give a warm hug. Then only he thanked you. Bonus if he is one hand patting you and another hand raise up to cover his mouth because he could not stop smiling.

Love languages ( Random gesture - Dongsaeng line)

Jaeyoung

You woke up earlier than Jaeyoung this morning. You did not wake up because its really early and because Jaeyoung returned home late last night due to his schedules. You slept in early.

You get yourself wash up and then you think of making him breakfast in bed so you later head towards the kitchen

Need milk for pancake (you will be using non dairy products for most recipes specially for Jaeyoung. I am suspicious that he is lactose intolerant since he keep declining to eat cake on most of birthday vlive) , so you open the fridge to get milk carton

And then you saw something, you could not hide your smile. "Waaah~Mwoya? " you say to yourself while reaching out to grab the surprise in the fridge

Its your favourite dessert which you have been craving. Bonus if you can't have it right away days before because it will make your period cramps worse. Maybe you mentioned with Jaeyoung briefly before your period via messages and he understood that was your menstrual craving because knows you too well

Happily, you put back Jaeyoung's surprise gift. And cheerfully cooked breakfast. You even went to the studies to write and "Thank you." note. You place the note beside the plate before heading to bedroom to wake Jaeyoung up

Minkyun

You head out for groceries and Minkyun came out to an empty house. He texted you immediately to know your whereabouts.

You finally got time to check your phone once in the car. You texted him back that you are on the way home. Minkyun calls you the instant your message got through. "Ok i will be waiting in front of the house."

Should you both are living at apartment, he would tell you to park somewhere near the lift so that he can spot your car easily.

Back home, you do see him waiting for you. Once you parked, he rushes to help you to take out groceries from the back of your car. Especially heavy ones he would block you from trying to reaching it. Even its not that heavy (like a bag compiled of small packages of fruits which its totally fine for you)

Bonus if he is actually trying to take everything on him which is impossible, so he let you take the bread and pack of tissues instead.

Yuto

You are cooking lunch today, and chopped/minced onions are one of the ingredient (the mini blender is broken) . Yuto is helping out with other ingredient. And of course since its onions, your eyes start to sting and gets teary.

You could not help but sniff a little and try to endure. But then a hand reaches to yours while another hand of his placed on your shoulder and a soft voice could be heard,

"Let's swap task." Yuto offers as he guides you to put down the knife.

As your tears are now rolling down from your eyes, and you can't wipe it because your hands touched onions, Yuto turns you to face him. Then he helps you wipe away your tears while looking at you affectionately. Bonus if he is giggling a bit while helping you wiping your tears

*cos pig in Korean is Dwaeji and I merged with Hyojin's name.

And Hyojin who would always be mad at those who calls that tabboo word, could only sighs while letting out a laugh wearily and complains "Yaaah! DwaeJin ga mwoya? / Hey! What the heck is a Pig-Jin?"

Bonus if he actually pinches your cheek as punishment. But he never really gets angry.

"Just don't call me that when members are with us ok?" And you follows that rule.

Like if its Seungjun or Minkyun call him that he already pissed and yelling at them but when its you, he could not get angry. Its something he will let it slide because its you and he knows you are not teasing him.

(Of course if your tone was teasingly insulting, he will pull a straight face for sure. Also you knowif he is already pissed its better not to use that nickname on him)

A/N: it got finished quicker than I expected so posting it ASAP before I got into writer block lol

Hyojin

First time holding hands : Could be first date in the cinema, and there comes a heart wrenching scene. He could tell you are empathizing with the character, and he gently placed his hand on yours then seeing you do not hate it. He smiles and turn his focus back to the movie.

Later : Would hold hands normally like others do but I could see him doing an arm draped combo while you are the one holding his hand. As established in pda headcanon, he has the "this is my person" agenda in his love languages. Also if he is going into the full mode of "this is my person " mode during holding hands, he might one arm wraps around your shoulder and another one grasps your free hand and rubs the back of your hand with his thumb.

Changyoon

First time holding hands : He wants to hold your hand for sometimes during first date, but did not dare to it. Maybe you two are on the second date and because the amusement park is quite crowded, out of instinct he just holds your hand out of sudden, pulling you closer so that you two don't get separated. Once he realises what he did, he quickly let go and scratched his head out of awkwardness.

Later : He would just slide his hand to yours and grips your palm as you two are walking side by side. And then changes to intertwining his fingers with yours. His move gets more natural because he is more comfortable now. I could see him playing with your fingers mostly tracing the outline of your knuckles and observes/studies your hand features.

Seungjun

First time holding hands : It could be a mischievous trial of his. Suggesting comparing size of both of your hands, as you place your hand close to his, he quickly intertwine his fingers with yours while laughing. You might get flustered and try to pull back but he will shake the tightly holded hands with a happy face.

Later : Established on the pda headcanon that he will reach out his hand as a sign for you and let you hold his hand. The one who also loves intertwine fingers but more tendency to hold hands loosely by one of you loosely clinging the other's fingers . Would swing his arms a bit to express happiness.

Jaeyoung

First time holding hands : First date and both of your hands keep brushing against each other. He would taken aback a bit and apologies. But you said you didn't mind. Then he timidly suggest if you wanna hold hands with him. And you promptly agreed. Bonus that he grips your hand loosely on the first time because he is wary of hurting you should he squeeze your hand too much.

Later : Already much more comfortable with each other, similar to Changyoon, he would slide his hands towards you palm and grips it. But he won't intertwine fingers. But one thing to point out out of all members, he won't easily let go your hand (the most). There was once you let go his hand and runs off because you saw something intriguing during window shopping, he lowkey panicked as he lost sight of you.

Minkyun

First time holding hands : it's just happened? Maybe you two are at pet shelter and you took fond of a sensitive cat. You want to get close to it feeding it food but the cat keep on hissing at you. Minkyun saw your effort and tries to help. He holds your hand that was holding onto the tube of wet treat puree. After successfully feeding the cat, he immediately let go of your hand once he realises and apologies. But you mentioned its fine.

Later : Always and frequently suggests to hold hands. Does not have a specific preference in my opinion as long as as you two are holding each others hand, he is content with it. I think he will intertwine his fingers with yours too when you both are enjoying Starbucks, sitting opposite of each other while listening to each other. Similar with Changyoon, he will be playing with your fingers as well.

Yuto

First time holding hands : Even though I did established he is a bit more timid and sensitive type it does not mean he is wary and anxious to initiate every move. If he is comfortable with that person he will initiate it. The whole event is very lighthearted and casual.

Could be you and him are at tourist spot at Osaka and its super crowded. You timidly clings on his shirt and he noticed it. Should you are a Japanese speaker yourself he would say "手、繋ごうか?(Te tsunagou ka?)/Wanna hold hands?". Then reaches out to your hand and you just lowered you head trying to cover up your heated face.

Later : He got comfortable and would initiate it quietly. But I do feel he is not the clingy type as well. It did not took long for him to advance to intertwining fingers with yours, which sparked to him that is one of his favourite thing to do. Example, should you are the one who initiates and you are clinging his little finger with your fingers, he would shifts his hand and intertwine his fingers with yours.
