onf headcannons ➳ s/o sleeps over at the dorms

a/n: sorry i'm just getting around to requests! tbh i have no idea how long these have been in my inbox as i haven't been looking through it very much.

to the anon: i'm not sure if this is exactly what you asked for, but nevertheless. i hope you enjoy! also please remember that this is all my opinion and i'm open to feedback!!

hyojin

it's nothing out of the ordinary. after all, you two are adults, so there should be no problem. the other members really don't mind. they enjoy your company, and they especially like to see hyojin happy, so they don't say anything. he absolutely has a bag of things you may need (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.) that he keeps in his room just in case. i see hyojin as someone who likes to lay close to you when he sleeps, but doesn't want to cuddle. the most i see him doing is draping an arm around your waist! he wants to be touching you, but doesn't want to smother you. he'll love if he can just talk to you until he falls asleep. it's comforting to him, and he knows that you won't judge him no matter what he says. he often claims that he 'can't sleep without you by his side', and although it's cringy, you love every bit of him.

seungjun (j-us)

despite it happening often, seungjun can't help but boast about it to his members, especially if he's the only one with a s/o. he's just so proud of himself for having a partner as amazing as you. he loves to cuddle. he doesn't care if he's the big spoon or little spoon as all cuddling is welcome to him. i'm a firm believer that he likes to talk about his day with you as you two drift off to sleep. this helps him to get over any worries/concerns that he had throughout the day.

changyoon (e-tion)

he's always so excited to be with you. a lot of times it doesn't even feel like you're sleeping over as his s/o, since he's so playful that he feels more like your best friend (in the best way possible). he doesn't care about showing affection around the members, and they're used to seeing it at this point, so who cares? he loves to cuddle before falling asleep, and will tell you random things about his day, or even just something he thought of while you were laying there.

jaeyoung (wyatt)

despite his tough appearance, he's shy. he loves having you over, but it doesn't happen as often as it does with the hyung line. it's not that he's ashamed or doesn't want to see you, but he just can't stand the teasing from the others. he can hold his own, but he'd rather not have to. when you do stay over though, he insists that you wear his shirts/hoodies to sleep instead of wearing your own clothes. he finds you to be so adorable. he can go either way on cuddling, but if you do, he's going to be the big spoon. he loves having you close to him <3

minkyun (mk)

all hell is breaking lose with this man. minkyun is very loud and energetic, anyone who has ever met him knows that. it's one of the things you love so much about him. he loves to talk, so be ready for him to tell you anything and everything. if you're lucky, he'll serenade you until he's about to fall asleep. if you're sleepy before him, he'll sing you to sleep. i don't see him as one for cuddling, but i do see him as someone who hogs all of the blankets, so be ready for that battle. he loves having you around and the other members can absolutely see how much he lights up when he mentions that you're staying the night.

yuto (u)

since he's the youngest, he's shy. however, being the maknae comes with advantages too. for one, he loves to tease the hyungs that his s/o is staying over, especially if they don't have one. you'll often join in on teasing them, which is enough for them to leave you alone for the rest of the night. i think yuto is the type of person to make playlists for every night you stay over. he'll compile songs that he finds into playlists on the days you're apart, so when you're there overnight, he can share the songs he's recently discovered with you. like hyojin and minkyun, i don't think he's much of a cuddler, but i see him holding his s/o's hand while he sleeps! <3

ONF BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL AU

Basically, the members s/o is kidnapped like J-Us was in the MV for Beautiful Beautiful and this is how I think they would react. The GIF has nothing to do with the reaction really but it was cute.

HYOJIN

As soon as Hyojin found out that his s/o had been kidnapped he was freaking out. He began blaming himself for letting the love of his life be taken, he was thinking that it should have been him not his s/o. But then the others found out how badly affected Hyojin was and they managed to get him out of his head so that they all could figure out a plan to get Hyojin’s s/o back. As soon as he saw his s/o in the ‘cage’ all Hyojin could think was: “I need to get them out of there. I don’t care what happens to me”. Once Hyojin got his s/o out of the cage and they were back home he hugged them and didn’t let go for a few hours. The following weeks, Hyojin, barely wanted to let his s/o out of his sight because he was afraid that something would happen to them again. 

E-TION

E-Tion was there when his s/o was taken by the robots and now he was angry, furious even. E-Tion didn’t tell the others, he wanted to fix this himself. It took him a few days but he observed the behavior of the boots and figured out when a good time would be for him to break in. After four days he was sure of the best route and time to break in and save his s/o. He almost failed but eventually he got his s/o out of there and then he just like Hyojin didn’t leave their side for a few days.  

J-US

After J-Us himself had been kidnapped he feared that his s/o would be targeted as well and so he was being very careful when going outside and such. But one day, his s/o went out to do something and in that moment they were taken. When J-Us found out he reacted similarly to Hyojin, panicking and blaming himself. He’s second in command in the group, he should have taken better care of his s/o so they wouldn’t end up in harm. He didn’t know if he should handle it himself or ask for help from the others. He ended up trying to come up with a plan first but when he didn’t succeed he asked Hyojin and MK for help. Once his s/o was free and safe, J-Us did not react like the other two. No, J-Us was calm but if he wasn’t with his s/o he wanted the two of them to text each other every 5 minutes to make sure the other was okay. 

WYATT

Wyatt’s first action was to tell the others and say, or rather scream: “HELP HELP HELP. They have been taken!”. Wyatt didn’t blame himself or his s/o but rather he was angry. Angry with the robots and the government for not doing anything about it. He was just as worried as he was angry but the anger was the driving feeling and the prominent one. it wasn’t until his s/o was safe and home again that the worry came through. He was very attentive and wanted to do everything for his s/o. They needed a glass of water, boom, he got it. They needed to walk to the bathroom, he carried them there. He just wanted to be there for his s/o and show how worried he had been as well as show how much he loved them. 

MK

MK didn’t know that his s/o had been taken until two days after it had happened. He simply thought that they needed some alone time and didn’t want to see him. But when he found out from Hyojin that J-Us and MK’s s/o was missing he was panicking. He was out of himself with worry, he could barely sit still because he was so nervous and worried. But the rest of the group came up with a plan and while MK tried his best to help with his part he was struggling because all he could think about was his s/o being harmed as well as one of his best friends. Once Hyojin had collected J-Us and (y/n), MK was out of his hacking place and hurried to buy as much food as he could carry. And when Hyojin arrived with the two who were just saved, MK immediately took his s/o’s hand and pulled them with him to his room. Once inside he told them to lay down and then he gave them all the food he bought and put on a movie. He was just glad that his s/o was fine, he was thankful for his other friends who helped him save his s/o. 

U

U acted similarly to Wyatt. Panicking, asking for help and worrying like crazy. You could say that U was a mix between Wyatt and MK. U was the communicator within their little rescue group but this time he was so worried that he kept opening the communication when it shouldn’t be open and closing when someone was talking. Everyone else understood how worried he must be so they didn’t say anything about his mistakes. Without their communication working like it should it took a bit longer for them to figure out when they could go to the next step but they made it work and saved U’s s/o. Though U acted a bit differently compared to the others once he saw his s/o again. Because he was so worried he told them off, saying how dangerous that was and how they should have been smarter. But as soon as he had blown off that steam he was back to being cute and worried.

ONF IN TRYING TO GAIN THEIR S/O ATTENTION

HYOJIN

You are focused on current activity your doing. He will brings himself get closer to you. Eyes peeking on what you are onto. Maybe even combs your hair with his fingers. He won’t say a thing or break your concentration until you turn your gaze towards him. Once both of your eyes meet, he immediately ask you how is the progress/how have you been doing with the activity. Will give out reactions especially his signature long “Ooooooooh” when you show him your progress/share with him what you have been immersed at.

If you are playing a game, he will chuckle a bit when seeing you fail, then giving out comments like "Awww, thats too bad you almost got it. You want my help?"

CHANGYOON

He might lowkey try to stare at you as he sits beside you. His eyes wavering between your face and the activity you are focused on, trying to find a timing to say a thing or two.

Would timidly plays/tugs at the hem of your shirt checking out the tag or such.

Even attempt to blow at your face but you stopped from doing it. (He might pout a bit if you did not budge) Maybe he even do the thing he did during mini game season 2 1116, where he plays with his spectacle, making it moving up and down trying to make you laugh.

But if you started the conversation his face will brighten up immediately. Might rest his chin on your shoulder but not gonna land full weight on it.

SEUNGJOON

Maybe you are dealing with your stuff on the couch and he is watching TV while sitting on the floor, with his back leaning at your legs (using them as a cushion). Either he turns off the TV or you requested him. He will lift his head a bit to constantly checks on you. (his head will conveniently rest on your knees when he does that)

If he wants to escalate thing to another level, he might turns and kneels toward you and rests his chin in your knees,and tells you that he is bored.

Feeling a bit prankish, he maybe will tickle your toes, of course depending on what activity you are doing, maybe trying to win a cart game or working out on a sudoku.

JAEYOUNG

He will most probably gaining your attention by over reacting if you are playing games lol. But if you are doing something quiet, he will try not to bother you. If possible, he will get closer to you and pulls you into his arms, letting your head resting on his chest. Mostly it will be you suggested it.

Occasionally sniffing your hair or giving gentle kiss on your forehead. If you are reading a book he will try to read with you, and when you are trying to flip pages, he will stop you saying he hasn't finish the page yet. You might being skeptical as you are already halfway through the book and wondering if he understands the plot.

He might goes, "Nah I am, just curious that what kind of story that can make you so immersed. Maybe lend it to me once you finished?"

MINKYUN

This boy, I swear. Don't even...

Well its not like he cannot be quiet or left alone, but its just he cannot sit still and keep feeling prankish hahaha (you know, being a cat). Playing your hair is a must and smuggling too close that it kinda affects your focus lol, also keep asking you if you need anything.

If he is in the mood of totally bothering you, he will tickle you so that you had to drop down what you are doing.

But if he decides not to bother you, he will lie down and rest his head on your lap. Either he turns to his side and plays his on his phone, or maybe he will take a nap.

If he gets bored with his activities, he will push himself up, pouts a bit because you are still concentrating at your own business. At this time he will starts calling out your name, trying to get at least small portion of your attention towards him.

YUTO

Yuto will just approach quietly, maybe hugging a cushion or plushie in his arms before leans his shoulder towards yours and takes a curious peak. Then he will turn his gaze away, as a gesture not to bother you, then he will rests his chin on the cushion or plushie.

But his eyes are locked at your face. If he noticed your hair is bothering your view or blocked his view, he will comb it and tuck it behind your ears. If you thank him, he will immediately break into an affectionate grin.

If he is trying to "fish" your attention, he would look for some funny vids or watch ONF funny daily recorded vid and laugh out heartily. It was so contagious and it spiked your curiosity that you can't help it and drop your focus towards the task you are on.

Aslo, he totally will ask if he can have a look as well. If its a video, you two are gonna sharing comment while watching it.
