Battle For Middle Earth 2 makes a surprisingly bold decision for a Lord of the Rings game:

It has Tom Bombadil.

As a playable unit.

And he does sing. Oh, boy does he sing. Every time you give him an order.

Tom Bombadil is cut from almost every single adaptation of Lord of the Rings, but the devs decided this ridiculous man belonged in their serious wargame, and I respect them for that.
