Ladies, do you see that line? Don't get me wrong, I feel like it's barely there but I was able to capture it on camera for the first time so it has to be getting darker.

I might need to go get some fancier tests from the store just to make myself feel better. I know it is totally possible, but could I really have just gotten pregnant the first try after there was so much heartache and waiting to conceive our daughter? I definitely thought this would take between 6 months and a year....

Well I guess I hope for a sticky baby because it hasn't always worked out that way for me.

I just peed on another cheapie pregnancy test. The second line was faint but absolutely still there.

Some initial thoughts:

I’m scared at how light the second line is. I know it’s early on, with me only ovulating about a week ago. But given how the last pregnancy ended, I can’t help but be afraid. I also don’t have any pregnancy symptoms so far. This was a concern with the last pregnancy and we all know how that went. Ugh, I’m so afraid. I don’t know if my heart can handle another loss.

I have no chill, ever. I called the doctor to try and get in for an appointment. My doctor is booking into July 😬 but the receptionist said to call tomorrow at 8:30am and they’ll try to get me in for a same day appointment. I also called the midwives and filled out an intake form. I desperately want to go see a doctor and get a referral for HCG monitoring.

I’m nervous to tell my husband. And am tempted to wait until I have had a few blood tests and/or have a stronger pregnancy test. The loss was really hard on him plus he’s been so stressed with work. I really don’t want to add to his stress levels.

There is nothing I would love more then to give my mum a bfp on Monday when she gets back from her biopsy. Please please please please. This family needs some joy.

Lucky number 7?

Dear Jeremy,

It’s been a while since I wrote to you. And I must say you didn’t make it easy for us. 7 long months of waiting, testing, waiting, more testing, and some major dissapointments when all results came back negative. But positive as mommy and daddy are, we kept good hope, and knew that this is our first test of patience.

Now it is July, summertime and this month things seemed a little different. Small things I normally propably wouldn’t even notice but yet they are there. So after many days of waiting and testing again, today we have a little more hope as 2 test came back positive today!! I really hope this is it, and finally a little soul chose me to be your mommy. This week will know, and i feel so happy right now. Let’s hope it lasts :)

No AF.

According to my app af was supposed to arrive today. I think that I ovulated later than projected though maybe that is what is causing the hold up. Or maybe I'm pregnant. I don't feel very different than normal though. I'm super tired but I'm sure that is due to the lack of sleep last night. I only got three hours so needless to say in going to take a nap when I get home! I'm really hoping that this is our month but I just really don't think it is.
