The MacRegor’s Honeyeater is a reclusive species, living in isolated pockets on the island of New Guinea. They nest in the crowns of trees in cloud forests and subalpine Dacrycarpus forests at elevations between 2,800 - 4,000m. They are monogamous breeders, with mating pairs laying a single pink and spotted egg per season.

Cinnamon Flycatcher’s live on the shrubby edges of montane forests of the Andean subtropical zone from Venezuela to Argentina, between 1,200 - 3,000m. They are often seen in pairs, perched on branches where they hunt for flying insects. Their call is a low, flat rattle, but they may also make a short, sputtered trill when disturbed.

Eurasian Spoonbills can be found in shallow wetlands, marshes, mangroves, and floodplains across Afro-Eurasia. They are partially migratory depending on where they breed, with northern populations tending towards more substantial seasonal journeys while southern birds are largely year-round residents. They breed either in single species colonies or in single species groups in mixed species colonies alongside herons, egrets, and cormorants.
