Congrats to Larian for making the first piece of media to make my brain do a hard reboot. I've paused before a couple times because I thought someone was pretty, but never a full reboot.

Act 3 Shadowheart got me.

I can count the amount of times I've paused for pretty characters in media on one hand. It's not a common occurrence for me.

One of these pauses was actually Isobel from this same game...

And Ciri in Witcher 3...

I sense there might be a common theme now...

And I would like to add, Shadowheart before Act 3 was also very pretty.

But something about her just being... happier? more sure? worked.

The hair change was just an added bonus. She could have done anything and it'd work.

As much as I love Shadowheart wearing the Dark Justiciar armor, it sure does look pokey.

I'm sure Eva appreciates getting to safely hug her.

This is my BG3 doodle to tide me over until I can work on more, as I'm finishing up the commissions I still have left since closing them. I really enjoy commissions, but man my mindset has it to where I can't hardly work on anything else when I have them. And I've got a lot of art I wanna do.

I love Speak with Animals so much.

I talk to every animal I see. This cat in particular made me very happy.

I felt so bad I lost him, but an hour later I found out he just stops following you after a bit.

My Tav collects every animal she can. And Shadowheart does say she wants plenty of room for animals, that's all the permission my Ranger Tav needs to add to her horde of animals.

And what if I just also place this quick doodle I made here... 🫸

I saw the spot by the fire in the room you can get and thought it looked like a cozy place to snooze.

Was this something I was already working on?

No.

Have I finished any of the the 8 other BG3 pieces I've started?

Also no.

But here we are. 🤷

I loved the lighting in this area when I got this bit of dialogue. And I just love anything Shadowheart says at this point.

I know I'm going to regret just leaving this at a doodle with quick coloring. But I've got so many pieces I need to finish...

Also, upon rewatching the clip I grabbed of it, I understand it was a campfire and not a torch making the light. But the doodle is already done, and a torch it shall be.

But I am this easily distracted. 😔

I walked right into combat while running around watching how much Shadowheart's braid swishes. It's very swishy.

But, I got a nice scimitar out of it that Eva used all the way from here in Act 1 to end game. Because I refused to use anything other than scimitars for her.

Got a new pen, wanted to mess around. So I dusted off the dip pen, and ended up quickly doodling Shadowheart and Eva with Scratch.

I'm working on priority pieces first, but then I will be returning to my BG3 stuff. I'm so ready for it.

I've got so much Eva lore sitting in the WIPs...
