Bhindi (Okra)

Ingredients

1 packet bhindi

oil

1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon red chilli

1/4 teaspoon turmeric

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1 green chilli (optional)

Prepare

Wash bhindi in a bowl and let it dry for 1/2 hour. 

Chop bhindi one by one as shown in the image and set aside

Take a non-stick wok and add 3 teaspoons oil. When warm, add 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds. After it turns slightly dark, add the chopped bhindi & mix it well

Put the stove on sim/slow. Now add all the spices: salt, red chilli, turmeric powder, coriander powder and one full green chilli (slit in centre) and mix it well with bhindi

Cover the wok, make sure the stove is on sim and let it cook for 10-15 minutes. Mix is lightly in between 2-3 times. 

Check if its soft and its done!
