He doesn’t answer, unamused by how much of his time you’re wasting, he does raise a single brow at you though, still waiting for you to tell him why you’re standing in front of him.

“Oh! Liu Kang asked me to tell you he needs to meet later than he initially said, he’s gotten busy,” you’re shuffling from foot to foot, uncomfortable in front of him, especially since this news is going to piss him off.

You flinch as he groans and his hands move as he asks, “Why? What’s so important he’s made me come all the way here only to wait?” He’s still angry but he drops his hands again, taking note of the way you flinched.

“He… uhh…” you’re trying to think of something to cover for Liu, in all honesty he didn’t tell you why he only told you to tell Bi-Han that he’d have to wait a bit.

“You have no idea, do you?” You shake your head at him and he rolls his eyes, frustration palpable, “What good are you?”

You frown mostly to yourself, “I’m plenty good, it’s not my fault you’re impatient,” you huff. “You will have to wait, like every other human does at least once in their lives,” your words are direct, he’s upset you. You don’t wait for a response from him, instead turning back in the direction you came and walking away hurriedly.

Bi-Han is left standing, surprised by your outburst, not having expected it from you.

When you run into him again, he’s coming back from talking with Liu Kang, seemingly calmed down. You don’t approach him, you stay sitting where you are, waiting for him to pass you by. Instead, he shocks you by standing in front of you, it seems like, he’s always looking down at you.

“I’m not sorry for earlier,” he grumbles at you.

You are confused, mostly because you don’t really care anymore anyways, “…Okay?”

He stands idly for a few moments before asking, “What are you doing?”

You don’t really know how to answer that, so you awkwardly say, “Sitting.”

“You are bad at conversation,” he considers you for a moment before moving to sit next to you on the stone bench.

You guffaw at him, “Me?”

He only offers a simple, “Yes.”

The two of you sit in complete silence, clearly both of you are bad at conversation. You break it first, with possibly the stupidest question you could ask, stupid for so many reasons, “Do you… come here often?”

He eyes you, contemplating for a moment, before deciding not to answer at all. Apparently not deeming it necessary.

Something is apparently possessing you to have loose lips today because you go on to say, “You look… nice today, uh not that you look bad other days, I mean maybe you do but when…when I see you, you look good…uhm…”

It looks like he smirks for a second before it’s gone, “Are you… flirting with me?”

I got the idea for the reader from tea.culture4 on tiktok. She’s hilarious. Watch her!! I put a link in the story to the specific video I was thinking about.

He watches you. It unnerves you to no end. Whenever he and his brothers come to Madam Bo’s, you feel his eyes on you. Bi-Han, the Lin Kuei’s Grandmaster, has a staring problem. You have a problem with him. Yet the more you’re mean to him, the more he seems to enjoy it. At least, it seems like it. He hasn’t killed you yet for the tea you purposely spilled on him, or the forgetting to serve him his portion of dinner. No, he enjoys it. His brothers laugh about it. Madam Bo has stopped scolding you about it. His big tips say everything he won’t. 

But, your problem with him runs deeper than his staring problem or his lack of social skills. It started when you flaunted having a date after your shift. You were excited - Jin was beautiful. He was well-spoken, nice, and had a great ass. You checked it out every time you saw him bend over. Your date had gone well, too. Jin took you to an Italian-style place. It was a city over. You’d never had anything like it before. His smile lit up your whole room as he watched you enjoy the layered noodle and tomato sauce dish. He promised to take you to more exotic food places. Maybe, even out of the country. 

You rewarded his generosity with your talented mouth. 

A note had been left in your bag the next day: “I see everything you do.” A few nights later Jin was found dead in the river next to your small town. 

You had the idea it was Bi-Han, especially when no one mentioned Jin again. It was almost as if he’d been erased from the town. 

Your second boyfriend possibly met the same fate - you couldn’t be sure. He had spoken about leaving the country for a medical degree. He was gone and had left you a simple note of goodbye, however you were suspicious. Why didn’t he tell you in person? Why had he hinted at a life with you when he left? 

You chewed on your bottom lip as you glared over at Bi-Han and his brothers. They were at Madam Bo’s for dinner. They’d also asked for one of your famous tea shows. You loved tea and enjoyed showing your skills off. Just not for the Lin Kuei’s Grandmaster. You were pushed out of your thoughts when Madam Bo thrust your tea tray into your hands. 

“Go, girl. The sooner you perform, the sooner they will leave.”

You snorted at her words. Madam Bo liked them and always questioned you on your behavior. She didn’t understand. You couldn’t make her. With a deep huff, you plastered a huge, fake smile on your face and walked to the Grandmaster’s table. He sat at a large table, his brothers on either side. It was on a loft above the main floor. You purposely kept quiet when Kuai Liang and Tomas greeted you happily. 

Sitting down across from them, you set the tray down. The porcelain rattled. Each cup you took off to display made a clink with the force of your movements. Giving them a sassy smile, you got up and left. You hadn’t even served Bi-Han tea. You drank it from the cup yourself. 

Avoiding the table for the rest of the night, you left the clean-up to another waiter. Sitting in the kitchen munching on some rice and reading a very worn copy of your favorite book after the restaurant closed, you looked up when you heard a shuffle of feet. It was Bi-Han. The fact he made noise meant he wanted you to know he was there. Suddenly, you realized no one else was in the kitchen. For the first time, you felt fear around him. Your eyes trailed over his hulking frame. He held a package in his hand. Silently, he set it on the table and pushed it towards you. Swallowing your feelings, you reached for the perfectly wrapped…gift? The item was wrapped in a blue silk scarf with what looked like pink flowers stitched in. Your name was beautifully written across a label. With shaking hands, you untied the scarf. 

It was a book. Not just any book, but the sequel to the one you were reading. You hadn’t even known there was more to the story. Your fingers traced the title with reverence. You wondered if there was more after this one. 

Looking back up at Bi-Han, you frowned. “Why did you give me this?”

“So you can see the rest of the story.” He answered, face and tone as neutral as ever. 

You looked between him and the book a few times. “Do you expect me to thank you? You might get killed.” You rolled your eyes, throwing the fact you knew what he’d been up to with your two boyfriends. 

The Grandmaster shrugged. “I expect nothing. Simply that you enjoy yourself. When you’re finished, there’s a third one.”

“I don’t want any more gifts from you.” You scowled at him. 

His eyes narrowed. The fear you felt earlier was back. 

“That’s not for you to decide.” He said. There was a pause as he tapped his fingers against the table. “We enjoyed your performance tonight. I’d like to see another tomorrow. Good night, Petal.”

You said nothing and watched him leave. As soon as he was out of your sight you wrapped the book back in the scarf and put it in your bag. You hated him, his stupid nickname for you, and the fact he watched you enough to care about what you read. Having your suspicions confirmed, you finally let it sink in he had his sights on you. The best you could hope for was he’d find someone more interesting and forget about you. Until then, you’d make sure to keep giving him the worst attitude possible. 

He seemed to like it. A small part of you loved that fact.

Kuai liang aka TUNDRA,if y'all bother to gaf about lore. Is subzero. He's the grandmaster of the LIN KUEI. he is a CRYOMANCER.

Bi-han,is the older brother of kuai liang. Is also the original SUB ZERO. and is also a CRYOMANCER. he died,became noob saibot thru the trials of the sacred act and tournament of mortal kombat. By the hands of hanzo hasashi aka SCORPION.

Hanzo hasashi is SCORPION. a PYROMANCER. Actual NINJA. whos clan was wrongfully murdered at the hands of QUAN CHI,DISGUISED AS BI-HAN. Died,became a spectre of revenge and hate. Was manipulated and used in said mortal kombat tournament. And you guys really should pay attention to the fucking story.

Eventually the clans of the LIN KUEI and the SHIRAI-RYU. made amends.

Scorpion the spectre is now returned as HANZO HASASHI SCORPION!!!!......and rebuilding his clan.

He is calm now,redeemed,and is doing good.

Kuai liang subzero bacame grandmaster of the lin kuei. And is all good now.

In my opinion bi-han subzero also came back and now is living life in peace as he wanted (per stated in his tower ending in the very first mortal kombat arcade game aka the fucking game y'all should play FIRST! get humbled and learn)

Pairing: Bi-Han x Fem Reader 

Summary: With the Lin Kuei not knowing of Bi-Han and the readers' relationship, it makes things somewhat difficult when they get certain temptations around others. Only being kind to Bi-Han's brothers, the way Tomas behaves around the reader sparks some possessiveness with him...

First time writing for Bi-Han so I hope I did well!

Now that Bi Han was grandmaster, I was excited to see how great of a leader he would be, proud as I knew Bi Han in a way others didn’t.

“Your brothers will be in soon for your meeting,” I smiled at him in his chair, bringing a tray of tea for the three of them, smiling more as I addressed his title, “Grandmaster.”

He almost always had on a tough act, but that made him smirk, hand finding my hip to bring me to his side, looking up at down my dress and mumbling:

“Of course,” I smiled at him, mindlessly going to kiss him but halting at the sound of Kuai Liang’s voice:

I was going to clean the kettle I used and the kitchen, but all I could think about was Bi Han. It was undeniable that I was madly in love with him.

“Why thank you, Tomas,” I smiled back, in the corner of my eye noticing how Bi Han was staring at me, a stern look on his face.

It made me wonder, so, standing with the tray and going to leave with no words, Kuai and Tomas were leaving with me.

“Allow me,” Tomas was a gentleman, holding the door for me, guiding me out, and I answered simply:

“Thank you again.”

Going and washing their cups, that look Bi Han gave me was concerning. It was like he was mad at me, and he, indeed wasn’t the type to be tested.

I couldn’t think of anything I did or said that’d upset him, drying my hands and wandering back to my room while lost in thought, so out of it that I was startled whenever I felt an arm around my hip.

“Bi Han,” Realizing it was him, I settled with a deep breath, “You startled me.”

“Don’t you know my touch by now?” He looked down at me, that stern look in his eyes.

“Sorry, I was just thinking is all,” I sighed, turning in his arm to face him, “Is everything okay? I can tell something’s a matter.”

No words; he fixed me in a position to walk with him. I followed, lost in thought again while trying to figure out his thought process, but learning when we walked into his bedroom, being whipped around and smushed against the door by his chest.

“Do you think showing yourself off around my brothers is fun?” He stared at me, quickly shaking my head and retracing my steps.

Featuring Noob Saibot

Never apologizes. Ever. This man will never utter the word "I'm sorry" to anyone. Not Kuai Liang, Not Liu Kang and certainly not Tomas.

On the rare instances Bi-Han does FEEL like he should apologize, he instead does small things to show things are fine. EX- commonly does the asking if they want to go get food.

Bi-Han is a decent cook. Having a set schedule growing up came along with making sure he was taking care of himself to fight at his best. This quickly carried over in him cooking for his siblings as well.

Bi-Han now has a habit of preparing too much food for his meals as he's used to cooking for three.

Now he may be an asshole. But this man will never be misogynistic. He has grown up seeing women in the clan being just as powerful as the men in the clan, if not more.

Because of this Bi-Han is a huge mamma's boy

While Kuai worshipped their father, Bi-Han admired their mother. She was the true figure of power he looked up to growing up. Where their father fell weak and soft, their mother constantly had things locked down and prepared for the clan's benefit.

Since Becoming Noob Saibot

Bi-Han always was more brutal compared to his brothers but that has now increased tenfold

Along with that increased brutality has also included an increased appreciation for the macabre.

Doesn't regret infusing himself with Titan Havik's chaos magic one bit

Because of the new acceptance and introduction to chaos in his life Bi-Han's control over his... self care has started to lack. Frequently forgetting to let himself rest or eat at times.

Will never admit it but will summon his shadow self during low moments and just sit with his shadow's presence as it's the closest thing to having Kuai Liang next to him again.

Though Liu Kang was able to repair Bi-Han's mind from Titan Havik's magic he still deals with side effects from the corruption.

The crevices that stretch along Bi-Han's body with the khaotic magic always have a dull throb, frequently spiking in pain the more stressed Bi-Han gets.
