Drawing from last night that I got around to finishing. These are ocs that I made back when I was rereading the book of Daniel for a class. Guy in the back is the king of Babylon, and despite all his power, one of his weaknesses is that he's borderline illiterate. Can't really read or write that well on his own, so he usually has servants do it for him--hence our unhappy sap in the front.

He was taken from a neighboring territory and spared from the life of a prisoner since he had the skills to read and write, though he thinks that he's going to be killed once he's no longer useful or makes a mistake.

Wait a minute!

“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)”

- ‭2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV‬

To those who say God judges you by what He SEES you doing in the FLESH (keeping the Law or not), wouldn't God be guilty of NOT being in faith?

Wouldn't that make the Holy Spirit guilty for not being flesh ever?

Wouldn't God be unjust to tell you to walk in faith if He Himself didn't do the same?

Here's the thing: over and over in scripture you see God being a viewer of the heart - seeing things empathetically and faithfully. He never judges a person based on the flesh or even their soul (1 Samuel 16:7), but rather He looks at the heart - the spirit.

So to place the impression that God looks at a person in the flesh, would consider the audience to believe God is not faithful. By that's not true, because God IS FAITHFUL! (1 Corinthians 1:9).

So therefore if God is faithful that means He is not judging you based on the flesh! He's looking at who you are in the Spirit: Messiah! ( Christ! )

And also therefore if you try to keep the Law (walk by a physical verifications) you are not in faith! And thusly, put yourself in bondage and then put Messiah MORE IN BONDAGE.

"Knowledge puffeth up, but Love edifies."

It's never wise to use the Word to win debates against man's own philosophies, nor is it wise to be caught up or stress yourself over the trends of today and argue against them constantly. And it's not wise to use trends against the populous to prove a point or show your way is better.

Jesus did not come down for you to win arguments so you can make yourself look smarter or better than anyone. He didn't die so you can win fights with your peers or conquer the world with an iron fist of doctrines.

Nor did God ordain you to damn the homosexual, fight the atheist, kiss the crooked, praise the proud, fear the forgeiner, forget the prostitute, con the drunk, censor the Word, nor belittle the Lukewarm Christian/ religious practioner.

He called you to resist principalities and powers, NOT PEOPLE!

He called you to cast down ideologies and vain philosophy with the Truth, not people who simply don't agree with you.

He called you to be empathetic not apathetic nor sympathetic.

The best way to show others that God is trustworthy and sees us worthy of His love and blessings is simple: be a living epistle.

See Christ living in everyone.

See everyone as an anointed one (Messiah)!

Act in grace and mercy with Love motivating your for the sake of Messiah. Empathise what the Spirit sees in each of us and uphold that identity.

This is how you show God is not dead, by seeing Him living in others.

How can I explain this?

The best way to describe on the cross was an identity swap.

As Christ became everything you were, you became everything He is.

Christ willingly became your sin and took your sickness, cancer, mental illness, unforgiveness, bitterness, depression, guilt, unrighteousness, anxieties, dumbness, poverty, weakness etc. He was crowned King of the Cursed in short.

While you became Him and have His righteousness, redemption, wholeness, peace, love, forgiveness, wisdom, joy, healing, prosperity, strength, faith, mercy, knowledge, hope etc. He crowned you with His Crown and keys to the Kingdom. You have spiritual gifts through Him now.

As Christ became you, you became Him. He lives in you and you in Him - either way, your old life is dead - the old man has passed away - and now... you get to live His life as He lives through you.

The enemy's real goal is mainly to get you distracted from your identity - who you truly are - in Messiah and from what you already have in Him.

Never give Satan that opportunity.

Continuously get in the Word (your spiritual mirror) and see who you are in Messiah and allow the Holy Spirit to mould you into what you behold.

Believe wholeheartedly your identity in Christ and confess it with words. The devil will flee from you as well.

If you spend just as much time writing the Word in your heart as you do reblogging, agreeing, nodding to God, retweeting, and liking Scriputres and inspired words of the Saints online while complaining and comparing yourself to others, I'd guarantee you'd be a fruit-bearer of God's blessings rather than a fruit-luster.

A lot of people now a days long for a change of behaviour to reap the benefits of a good life. But the Truth is, that changing your behaviour isn't the root cause of a better/happy life, nor will it benefit your relationship with God.

A change of bahaviour is actually a by-product of you changing your character, which is stemmed from where your focus is: either between yourself OR Christ.

If you focus on yourself, you reap despair, you reap stress, you reap sorrow, you reap confusion, you reap heart ache, and etc.

But if you focus on Christ, you reap peace, you reap love, you reap wisdom, you reap healing and a fighter's spirit and so forth (everything the Word says He is, so you are in Him). And you'll be so blessed that you have to bless others out of that very Love He gave you! And the more you focus on Him (what the Word says about Him) the more the Holy Spirit will mold you into His character!

Therefore, I encourage you, don't try to change your behaviour to benefit yourself, change who/what is your GOD and bless the One Who made you.
