Damn, I've come quite a long way from my very first Bic portrait.

Not to toot my own horn, but I honestly don't know how I do this or ever thought I could. It all started with a dream about drawing Dolly Parton, and since I was already doodling with a cheap pen, why not challenge myself? Nothing but me, printer paper, a simple Bic pen, my phone, and my eyes. No template, nothing traced, I just start from around the left temple or cheek and work rightward. They always look terrible in the first stages, but they work out somehow.
