tonight’s dinner: detroit-style pizza done à la alton brown (cold-proofed in the fridge overnight and then brought to room temperature over the course of the day) and numero uno (bit of oil drizzled on the crust); the result is a crust that tastes fermented in the best way possible and feels both fluffy and crispy, just like the kind you would find at a pizzeria.
followed by the return of the bee sting cake! it was good to make crème pat and smell those caramelized almonds again 🎂🥳
