Matthew Lewis Nominated Best Supporting Actor at BIFF 2017

The British Independent Film Festival will be held next week on 12th and 13th May 2017 at the Empire Cinema in Leicester Square, London. Juliet Remembered has been selected to screen on Saturday (13th May). Tickets may be purchased here.

Juliet Remembered is written and directed by Tamzin Merchant and stars Maggie Steed, Rakhee Thakrar, Matthew Lewis, Joshua Higgott and James Smith.

A former actress who has moved into a care home after the death of her husband. She struggles to remember day-to-day things and can't even recognize her son, but can remember every word of her most famous role: Shakespeare’s Juliet.

The film festival will close with BIFF Award Ceremony. Juliet Remembered has been nominated Best Short Film. Matthew Lewis has been nominated Best Supporting Actor for his performance as nurse Toby and co-star Rakhee Thakrar is nominated Best Supporting Actress for her performance as nurse Deena.
