Spent 5 hours here in the er. Day 5 of my knee injury. There are pieces of bone in my knee that have completely shifted from the osteoarthriris and bone spurs since my last x-ray here in 2015. That can be why it's popping and grinding and locking more. And why it stayed locked on thursday and made it unable for me to walk/stand ever since. She said my knee looks horrible (as usual) and definitely wants me to follow up with Dr on Wednesday and possibly get more imaging to determine exactly what's going on. They can't really give me one reason for the severe pain and swelling but don't want me to be on it for at least 2-3 days until I see my dr and then see what he says about how long. I can't stand or walk much still anyway. I've bent the shit out of my crutches from putting so much weight on them just getting to the bathroom and back. They are giving me a bandage to wrap knee and a few pain pills to get me by til I see my dr.
