Be the Hammer is a collaborative effort between Belgium-based musician Dominique Van Cappellen-Waldock (Baby Fire, von Stroheim, LAS Vegas) and noisemaker Raoul Puke. All of their sounds are created using a Big Briar theremin, looped and processed through a variety of pedals and plug-ins, then heavily edited and layered into a computer. The result is a collection of heavy, cinematic, nightmarish and (often) long tracks of drone/ambient noise that will take your mind to gloomy places.

I’m delighted to have a track by Be the Hammer featured on the cool onyudo label. Be the Hammer is a two-piece band that includes Raoul Puke and myself.
