Hey logan, what’s happening in rotalde? Patton mentioned that was where you were going, as “something” was happening there.

(Logan glances at Patton, who has turned to Thomas and gestured for another hug with him, which Thomas accepts.)

Logan: I heard news that there was an upheaval in the kingdom, and though I hope it isn’t true, I heard rumors that there was a change in leadership, which isn’t that uncommon for the kingdom as it never seems to hold a single line of leadership for more than 30 years and it’s been just over 30 years since the last one. 

Logan: The only problem is, as a paladin with an Oath of the Crown, I was positioned to guard the palace as I was trusted by the king and queen to keep my word and protect the palace and kingdom. As a result of being employed in the palace, I drew close with the prince of the kingdom, who by now is... or was the crowned king. Unfortunately, there was an incident and I was blamed for a band of bandit/thieves/assassins come to see another short end to a reign.

(Logan’s hand unconsciously edges up to his horns as he continues.)

Logan: The Head Guard thought me to be the reason they got in solely because of my species reputation and even though the king and queen knew me well, they allowed him to send me away. I was banished from setting foot anywhere near the kingdom’s castle ever again.

Logan: And now that I hear he’s possibly been overthrown, I have feared he has been killed. And I never went back due to... my fear that he hates me for leaving him even after his parent’s deaths. But now... I may be too late...

(Logan looks up, and you see a single tear in his eye, (which should be impossible as tieflings never need to blink or produce tears, but it’s there), but with how stoic he has been, that seems very big for him to express his emotions like this.)

Some headcanons for my AHIT AU: 

On how the events of the game played out in my version-

-Basically, it went the same as the canon game...except without Hat Kid going to Subcon Forest, since she already lived there with Snatcher and the Subconites and Dwellers. So in this case, she was extra desperate to get the Time Pieces back, so she could get home and be with her dad and all her 'siblings' again. -And when it came time for Hat Kid to fight Mustache Girl and reclaim her Time Pieces, set things right, she put up a pretty good fight, but Mustache Girl was a bit too much for her to handle, and even almost killed her in their duel. -However, when it looked like Mustache Girl was about to finish her off, Snatcher did end up finding his way to his little girl, and was even the one to give the others the idea to sacrifice themselves to give Hat Kid their pons. -And suffice to say, he was not happy with her with for threatening his little girl, but decided to let her off the hook since Hat Kid was able to survive and set things right. -Though, in case it wasn't obvious, Hat Kid does still have a slight fear of Mustache Girl after their last encounter. -It's not nearly as bad as Bendy's fear of Joey/the Ink Demon in my BATIM AU, but yeah.

In general-

-While Snatcher still has no problem trapping people and getting them into contracts, whether they be good, bad, or indifferent, if someone is more of a good person, or if Snatcher senses that someone is more of a good person, or if he’s just feeling generous, he’ll give their stuff back once they’ve completed their contractual obligations. 

-If he doesn’t like you, though? You have to fight him to get your stuff back.

-Also, Snatcher will sometimes spar with Hat Kid, to help train her and help her get stronger, so she can protect herself and fight better when she's out on adventures.
