Episode 151, Big Picture. Simon Fairchild is the FUNNIEST FUCKING GUY to ever be born. That being said, I don't appreciate the jab he makes at homeschoolers in this episode. That's my culture you're mocking, sir.

Hello, friends! I wanted to give an update on Cantata Chapter 4 and a bit of a “big picture” update on my plans for Cantata.
If you haven’t heard, Chapter 4 is dropping October 10! It’s already with my beta readers. Chapter 5 will hopefully drop some time in January, which coincidentally, is the 1 year anniversary of Cantata! 🥳
I had a grand scope for Cantata that I recently reevaluated and trimmed. I don’t want to be working on this beast 5 years from now, nor am I interested in doing a series. That being said, the ideas I cut would make a good second book IF I ever wanted to continue, but I want this to be able to stand on its own if I don’t.
Probably a little over sharing on my part, but all that to say that I can see this continuing for another 2 years. Whether you’re here at the end or not, I appreciate you tagging along right now! Thank you for all the lovely and respectful comments and suggestions. I’m as excited to see where this goes as you are!
Mark your calendars for October 10!
The Duchess was smaller than she'd thought. But if you had to protect it by standing in the doorway with a sword, you were too late. Caring for small things had to start with caring for big things, and maybe the world wasn't big enough.

'Mirage - "Made Like a Movie. Designed Like a Game. Played Like Your Imagination."
[DOS / MAC] [ITALY] [MNAGAZINE] [1996]
"A surprise booth at [the 1995 PC Expo] was constructed by Atlantis Interactive, a subsidiary of Vivid Interactive, manufacturers of adult-oriented games for the PC, 3DO, and CD-i. Atlantis Interactive, however, was not showcasing any adult CD-ROMs, but instead a virtual-world mystery with a western theme, called Mirage. The game is packed with FMV which players can interact with, all accompanied by rendered backgrounds in the tradition of Myst. Mirage marks what Eric Goldie, marketing representative for Atlantis, says is the company’s “first main thrust into the mass market.” Atlantis does not plan to slow down after the release of Mirage, in fact, according to Eric, the company has six other titles in the works and, if Mirage is as successful as many are foreseeing, Atlantis’s next game will follow shortly after Mirage’s release." ~Greg Angelo, Videogame Advisor (July 1995, Vol. 01 #03)
