One of my many Hylics headcanons is that WAYYY back in the Hylics world old Wayne was the only “Wayne”, aka I don’t see Wayne from Hylics 1 as Old Wayne from Hylics 2. Instead, he was a whole separate person, and just like his son (who I like to nickname junior lol) was in a band, but unlike Moonage Lobotomy this band was BIG, as in Old Wayne was a fucking superstar (*cough* despite being a moon *cough*) his guitar he used to play would eventually be passed down to his eldest son (Wayne jr). Everyone nowadays sees Old Wayne as an old and wise big thing, but deep down he can still be the playful and sly mf he used to be! heh
