A little appreciation please.
Well, the weathers got a little better lately. My wife has been on this mantra about how it's time to get things ship shape. Whatever you say captain scrubbing bubbles. (I say that to myself, not to her face. I'm not crazy.) I thought I'd beat her to the punch this weekend and do some spring cleaning. Why not tidy up the car trunk? Sure we had more other pressing projects, but sometimes it's best to work into things slowly. I was hard at it while enjoying a Taylor Swift song on the radio when my wife walks out to the car and asks "What's Up?" I told her how I was digging into some projects around the house that needed to be done, just like she'd mentioned. (Nothing makes a man happier than making his lady happy!) To my surprise, my wife blurts out "Why start with something so small?" What an unappreciative comment. I told her; "Hey remember, it's not the size that matters." As she walked back to the house I heard her say; "You guys keep telling yourselves that."
