When their father’s sudden death leaves them with no home and little income, Dashwood sisters Elinor and Marianne – along with their mother and younger sister – are called to live at a cottage at Barton Park near distant relatives. Thrust into the society of eccentric friends (and new rivals) the sisters attempt to navigate a world where love is held hostage by social class and happiness is ruled by money.
