asking here because google is useless: for people who have vintage or otherwise delicate folding fans, how do you store them? i bought myself a fancy fan, and i think plainly shoving them in my bag would cause some damage to it, so i'm trying to think of ways to protect it.

> encase your iliad (fabric, shelf, tablet, etc). put tokens inside for beauty and nature, for the gods, for the blessed dead. say out loud the names you see as you read; live and grieve their lives. set your case down beside your pillow and close it; the game rests.
sigh... Wish i had the space and privacy for an altar
havent rlly been offering anything to the gods lately... i mostly copy prayers and hymns from books and the groups im in and dedicate them to the gods and thats it
Queering, to me, means deconstructing something for the purposes of rebuilding it in our own queer image, subverting it in that process, and claiming it as our own. That claiming, or reclaiming, is then an act of power and magick all its own.

i'm Victor (he/him) - 18+, 🇵🇭 Filipino/SEAsian, chronically ill, queer 🏳️🌈, trans 🏳️⚧️ TME, ex-Catholic
i follow and reply from @bipedalseal (also have my zines there)
i started my hellenic polytheist journey this january, but paused because of an illness flare-up
my own beliefs are a mix of hellenic polytheism, animism, and... filipino folk religion? its hard to explain lol. and i primarily worship thanatos and hypnos, but i've been branching out lately lol
i'm also pretty into divination (tarot, dice divination, and oracles) and diy spirituality. and i'm currently pretty fixated on judaism (specifically second temple judaism and torah studies)
this blog is intended to be a
- digital commonplace dedicated to Hellenismos, Greek myth and language, divination (tarot, cartomancy with playing cards, divination with dice and the Greek alphabet oracle), Filipino religion, secular/postcolonial spirituality, and Judaism
- digital altar for the theoi, my practice, and my self
- a log of what I do, so I don't forget (esp my ancient greek notes lol)
happy to blog with the rest of you guys! ingat and farewell!
