The song is about resilience, in a very Cameroonian way, and it’s in a traditional genre called bikutsi (which refers to both the music and the dance and translates to « striking the ground »)
Thank you for that link! That was genuinely crazy seeing Zayn pop up so randomly, and in a song about resilience. I’m gonna take it as a sign, because I need some signs right now, not just about Z but about life in general. That was a blessing this morning.
