Why does masculine/feminine exist???? Or better yet, since it exists in most languages, why doesn’t English have it??? Did all the creators of languages have OSP???

a veces mi español es un poco quebrado pero soy orgullosa de mi cultura. a veces siento que tuve mucha suerte nacer en una cultura y una familia que vale echarle ganas a la vida. creo que si yo era algo menos que una hija de immigrantes, mi vida estara muy aburida y sin sentido. la pasion y el amor por mi cultura no es algo que siempre ha tenido. es algo que aprendi en tiempo. a veces canto pero siempre lloro porque de verda soy feliz de ser mexicana

i see shit like “what language do you think in” and “people think in different accents” and so on all the time and i just am i the only one who mostly thinks in abstract images and not just precise words at all times always? like when i’m thirsty i think of the process of drinking water, there’s no running line that says “i’m thirsty” going through my head and if i do think of something that has to be thought of in the form of actual words, i picture those words in print, not hear what they sound like inside of my head like honestly who thinks like that is something wrong with me what accent do i think in none bitch jesus fuck
