it’d felt like years since luke’s lightsaber had split, back on the supremacy after her fight with ben. without a weapon, it had been difficult to feel completely secure. sure, she’d had her staff and blaster, but the lightsaber was her first choice, always. but now it was done. her new lightsaber was finally finished. a similar hilt to luke’s and the same vibrant blue color. she smiled to herself as she began twirling it around her hands, getting familiar with the weight of it. however, as soon as she heard someone approaching, her smile disappeared instantly and she shut off the weapon, holding it behind her back. surely she looked suspicious, but she just kept her hands behind her back and glanced at the person, hoping they wouldn’t ask any questions. she wouldn’t lose this one.
Nico was flipping though his French textbook again, doing his best to learn this language as quickly as possible. He was thankful for his handle on Italian, but it was only helping him so much with French pronunciation and things. Sighing, he closed the book with frustration, tired and mentally exhausted. Standing, he made it a few steps down a side street when the shadows started reaching towards him, the demigod sighing and having to focus to keep things around him normal. His emotions always seemed to effect his abilities in weird ways. Turning around he didn’t realize someone was standing there and sighed, giving a slight wave. “Hi. Didn’t see you there.”

❝ do they celebrate black friday here ? ❞ the thought had consumed her for some time now and she was itching for an answer. how was she to know how other people lived ? after all, she was no longer in illinois. the femme’s desire to shop and for a good sale was indeed strong. shopping was in her blood. being apart of the plastics it became a ritual to spend her parent’s money at the mall every week. ❝ is there a mall here ? i wonder if they have cute french boys. ❞ glossed tiers smiled widely at the other, blonde tresses whipping behind her shoulder.
Her feet toed with the freezing water of the Seine as nostalgia took over her features, dragging unwanted tears to her eyes. Calypso frowns and scrunches her nose in a childish attempt to scare her humanity away, but with no victory. Tears start streaming down slowly; quietly. It is just then, that whispered by the pale Moon, she senses a presence behind her and so, she wipes away her sadness, raising her chin and adding class to her pose with a straight spine.
“ It is late and cold. What has brought you to the pier of the majestic river this dark night, my child?”
