billy kaplan was used to getting teased and prodded at. little he might've been, but he had built up iron-clad walls five miles high around himself to ward off the taunting and teasing. he didn't let people in often out of fear mainly, but when he did, billy loved them unconditionally. teddy altman was no exception. the blond boy was all he could think about morning, night, and day. he was lovesick, and anyone who paid attention would notice the hearts floating around in his eyes whenever he looked at teddy. he was forever grateful to professor granger for pairing them up in his lab class. what had started out as billy tutoring teddy had blossomed into something much more. their friendship was far more just platonic that to billy. it meant everything to him. besides burying his nose in comic books, his meetups with teddy were the biggest source of joy for him. he never expected anything to come of his little crush, but he could daydream, right? the curly-haired boy strolled up to their usual picnic table in a quiet corner of the quad, two strawberry milkshakes in each hand. there was a bright beaming grin on his lips, stretching from ear to ear. "sorry, i'm a little late! i was getting these for us. they're your favorite — strawberry!" billy quickly offered up. he settled in across from teddy and his bulging muscles. in comparison, billy's red hoodie hung over his slender frame, practically swallowing him up. "what's new with you, altman? any cute girls flirtin' with you? surely, they're fawning all over you," billy said with a chuckle. "and i can't say i'd blame 'em either. i mean, i never would've gone to a sportsball game by myself. i'd've been guaranteed a months worth of swirlies if i did." / @kitbogart

WHAT? I had to google it. It's legit. Noah Schnapp came out as gay. First off, kudos to him.

Second of all, absolutely cast him as Billy Kaplan.

Granted, he was on my shortlist regardless.

Really happy for him and glad his family was supportive.

everyone, duh !

i’m kidding, there’s bound to be some hot messes attending. but anyways, best dressed… well, versace queen zatanna springs to mind instantly, as does the ice queen herself --- both their outfits are guaranteed to slay us with crystals and stars galore ! aaand i suppose it’s only fair to add at least ONE male to the list and that has to go to billy, who i’m hoping will wear the most fabulous, OTT cape known to humanity. these three better not disappoint.
