When couples in a small town in Missouri start dying in violent and mysterious ways, the guys head over to investigate. It’s a fairly simple case, so it should go smoothly as long as no one’s sitting on any secret, deeply buried feelings. Cas definitely isn’t, but, if he were, going on a fake date with Dean definitely wouldn’t help. It’s a shame that ends up being exactly the plan they come up with.

This is difficult to do when Dean hardly even looks at him. He has been sat on his bed since he returned to the motel room with a bottle full of duck blood, opting to stare at the screen of his laptop with an almost worrying intensity instead of talking to Sam or Cas.
