Time to say that I have a serious problem with the way I can see Shifty In fanfics with Stan, on one hand I'm always willing to stick to sweet stories that portray them as father and son, or even uncle and nephew. I like the drama and anguish because they always know where to strike, I don't know why, but I really enjoy stories with the found family trope where they strive to reach a goal and be happy.
And in the other hand, I think it catches my attention because of its shapeshifting aspect and how twisted that can become.
I still prefer to see them as something platonic because I enjoy the part of Stan being a single father more, but the demons in me sometimes whisper things in my ear
