Herc absentmindedly wandered through the store, passing rails of fabrics and different cuts, variations of lengths in trousers, padded and non padded blazers, colorful ties and a counter full of glistening cuff links. He felt completely out of place in his Target jeans and G.A.P hoodie, though he was making good money here in Elias he came from a struggling family.. and specially tailored suits were not something he just picked up casually.

Life was different here in Elias, more extravagant and tasteful and quite hard to get used to. Even after almost three years Hercules still found it incredibly insane that people bought entire ball gowns and three-piece-suits because a Princess or someone of importance was throwing a party-- in Greece that would never happen.

He was pulling at some kind of dark green, crushed velvet suit jacket when he saw Thackery step out of the changing rooms in the reflection of the mirror. Herc grinned and turned around with an encouraging grin. “That looks fantastic!” he beamed. “You could sure pass for Royalty in that outfit!”
