SwissWino 10 Questions - Reynald Parmelin, Domaine La Capitaine
SwissWino 10 Questions – Reynald Parmelin, Domaine La Capitaine
SwissWino had the privilege to visit La Capitaine, the bio winery located in Begnins, and observe their wine bottling and labeling process. During the visit I had the opportunity to sit down and interview the owner and winemaker, Reynald Parmelin, who graciously took time out of his busy schedule to meet with me.
Reynald Parmelin, La Capitaine
You probably have had their wine, some of the best…

I have been out of touch with this blog but I am restarting it. This was tasted at BEARD, a small restaurant in Tokyo that characterizes for using fresh local ingredients. That is, except their wine, that is all organic and mostly French. This is one of Les Vins Pirouettes, a project started by Christian Binner. The wine name is glouglou and just like it would suggest, it is easy to drink. Very fruity and pure Pinot Noir taste with a certain volume developing as it opens. Recommend letting it st for a while since it taste only of strawberries first but it develops more floral and earthy aromas later on. French wine : Glou glou Region : Alsace Grapes: Pinot Noir Producer: Christian Binner Vintage: 2015 Overall quality: ok.
