He’s not opposed! I think he defaults to using his left hand though, just because his bionic hand doesn’t offer as much tactile feedback - he likes getting to really feel his partner! I get nitpicky sometimes with details. In ESB, Luke’s hand seems to be clearly lopped off at the wrist.

 However, when he’s getting his bionic hand attached a few minutes later in the movie, the components are well into his forearm, I’d say halfway to his elbow.

Is that because they had rebuilt a working hand into the existing arm, or was that some kind of continuity error?

If anyone has any more info on this, that’d be great. Right now I’m just overthinking it.
