My first @walmart beauty box got a lot of goodies in there and it's only $5 so not bad for the 1st box. Wish there was a bit of makeup in there but for $5 I can't complain to much. #walmartbeautybox #walmart #walmartbeautyboxspring2017 #walmartbeauty #coconutoilfacialmoisturizer #travelsize #schwarzkopf #dovedeodorant #colgateopticwhite #johnfriedafrizzease #biorebakingsoda

Influenster: Biore Baking Soda VoxBox Review
A few weeks ago, I received the Biore Baking Soda Voxbox from Influenster complimentary for testing purposes.
Influenster sent out two of the latest Biore products to test out — the Baking Soda Pore Cleanser and the Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub. As a fan of Biore, I heard great things about these two, so when I found out I was one of the Influensters selected to try them out, I was really excited. These two products work together to exfoliate your skin, leaving it soft and smooth. As a natural beauty remedy, baking soda has anti-inflammatory and mild antiseptic properties that can ease inflammation, opening pores and making skin look better. Furthermore, it aids in absorbing oil to prevent pores from clogging. It can also slowly erase acne scars and speed the healing of acne damage. Baking soda is also a great solution for removing blackheads by drawing out the infections that cause them.
The Biore Baking Soda Pore Cleanser deep cleans to remove dirt and impurities from pores while gently exfoliating dead cells leaving your skin feeling smooth and healthy looking. I use this twice a day and have noticed a significant improvement with the appearance of my skin. My skin doesn't feel tight after using this product, nor irritated. I love how smooth and glowing my skin looked the first time I washed my face with this cleanser, plus the lightly scented fragrance is very dreamy. The second product that goes in hand with the cleanser is the Cleansing Scrub. Basically, you dispense a quarter-sized amount of powder in your hands and add water to it to create a paste and massage on your face. The water activates the scrub. Adding more water to the powder will soften the cleansing process. While this helps with my exfoliating routine, I use this scrub once a week as I found it leaving dry patches on certain parts of my face. If you have experienced this as well, I recommend using this product once a week or bi-weekly.
Overall, I'm in love with these two products and would definitely recommend them. Biore never disappoints with their skincare line and having these two will be very popular to their collection for those of us who want a more natural beauty routine.
The Biore Baking Soda Pore Cleanser and the Biore Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub are both available in stores across Canada and the US. Be sure to check out their website for these and other skincare products.

Biore Baking Soda Scrub and Cleanser Review
A long, long time ago, when I first started this blog, I received the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant. At the time, I had never seen anything like it. It was a powder (made from rice) that when you mixed it with water, it turned into a exfoliator for you face. It was the coolest product ever and I loved the way it made my skin feel afterwards. I tried to use it sparingly, only once a week, but eventually I did run out. Normally, I would have been find to repurchase the product because I loved it so much, but it cost a whopping $75 (CAD), way out of the budget for 17 year old Taylor. Actually, way out of the budget for 21 year old Taylor as well.
I had totally forgotten how much I used to love this product until I received a similar item in the mail a week ago. This one is from Biore and it’s the same idea, however there is a couple of differences. This one too is a powder exfoliant that you mix with water, however this one contains baking soda so it fizzes up which is a cool sensation! I find it to be a bit more gentle as well, it’s definitely not as harsh. But the biggest difference? The price point. This one is far far far away from the Dermalogica’s price tag of $75 at just $10. So far I’ve been very happy with this product. I have yet to notice a huge difference in my skin, but I’ll keep you posted!
I was also sent the Baking Soda Pore Cleanser from Biore as well. This cleanser is a bit more basic. I don’t notice any huge results from it. I’ve never had a problem with large pores so maybe that’s why it hasn’t really made a difference on my face! But I think I will continue to use this with the powder exfoliant and see how my skin does with them! And in the meantime, I will continue to dream about the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant.

I was able to try Biore’s Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub and Baking Soda Pore Cleanser for free because I am a member of Influenster. I really liked the products. I usually have a few blemishes on my face at any given time but after using this for a few weeks, my blemishes are fewer and smaller. I even felt a huge pimple coming and the products stopped it before it was noticeable.
I recommend these products if you are looking for something new. :)
Biore baking soda
Hi everyone,
I had just received a Biore VoxBox from Influenster Canada. Influenster Canada is a website that allows people to review new products on behalf of the company to create buzz for the company.
Anyway so I have been using the cleansing scrub and the pore cleanser from this line and they're amazing! My favourite one by far is the cleansing scrub it smells amazing and my face always feels smooth and soft afterwards.
I do enjoy the pore cleanser however i would be wary as it does contain Salicylic acid... which on occasion did dry out my skin a bit so I was bit disappointed in that because as an adult my acne is well controlled with just a good cleanser and a moisturizer.
Overall I would rate these products as follows:
Cleansing scrub 8.5/10- Great product, Smells wonderful (like tropical paradise) easy to use but be careful to not get water in the product. So with that being said it would be 10/10 if you didn't have to worry about getting water in the product bottle ... I wash my face in the shower usually so it was frustrating to not be able to use this in the shower.
Pore cleanser 6/10 - Like i said earlier in my review, its good but its not great or mind blowing. The Salicylic acid I believe ruined this product for me. The line is for combination skin not for acne prone skin so I’m not sure why the included this ingredient in the product. As an adult I found that it is unnecessary to use to Salicylic acid and it just makes my skin tight and dry ( even with combination skin).
