Important note on origin of animal life
Evolutionary-wise, early life on Marmakul had three unrelated ancestors for animal life. So it resulted in three main brunches.
Decapods (10 limbs)
Tetrapods (4 limbs)
Asymmetrical pentapods (5 limbs)
And in process of evolution things happened so not all creatures remained with number of limbs mentioned above.
I figured I should have a bipod for zeroing optics and stuff, but I also knew I wouldn't use it enough to justify spending the kind of money that decent bipods usually cost. Fortunately, military surplus exists.
A short trip to Google and then about a week later, I now have a milsurp XM3 M16 bipod. This one came with the old case that included pockets for the early M16 cleaning kit with the three-piece rod, which I do not have and don't care enough about to try to find...yet.
It's neat, as well as kinda nostalgic since my dad had once of these laying around when I was a kid.
