sorry if you’re getting bored/annoyed with these asks but I really love your bipolar buck headcanon,, how do you think eddie would react to finding out buck having bipolar and what he’d do to help support him?
Answering these together bc there's a bit of overlap.
When he finds out Eddie does a lot of research so he has an idea of what Buck is going through, what to look out for and what to expect, but mostly he doesn't treat Buck any differently because he knows he would hate that. It's similar to how he is with Christopher: he keeps a close eye on him but refrains from interfering until he is asked for help, unless it's clear that he is really struggling but refusing to ask.
When Buck is having a mild low Eddie tries to stick to their usual routine as much as possible because he knows it's good for Buck. He'll let him sleep in a little bit but make sure he's still up in time for the three of them to do their exercises and eat breakfast together. He'll take on a bit more of the housework but he won't let Buck completely slack off because he usually feels guilty and it ends up making things worse.
When it's bad Eddie's pretty good at picking up Buck's cues and figuring out what he needs, whether that's just letting him nap while Eddie cleans up, or the three of them just hanging out watching movies, or Buck and Eddie cuddling in bed while Eddie reminds him how amazing he is and how much he loves him.
