I think Buck would wear nail polish and not only that, but he'd wear it with pride. Purposefully show off his nails every chance he gets. He enjoys watching the narrow-minded people have a conniption at a buff man like him wearing nail polish.

So today I realized why I don't quite jive with the 'Buck has depression' headcanon. (To be clear there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, this is just my thoughts on it). Personally I feel bipolar fits better. He has periods of depression, especially after triggering events like the roller coaster, but I don't think its consistent. He has demonstrated certain traits of a hypomanic episode, such as high energy, impulsivity, and exaggerated self confidence. I also feel that his promiscuity is better explained by the poor decision making and willingness to take sexual risks associated with bipolar than his self-diagnosed sex addiction. That never sat well with me either, because as soon as he met Abby he just... shut that off? Like as far as we know he was celibate between the end of s1 and when he banged Taylor Kelly in the bar bathroom and like... that's not how addiction works?

Anyways those are my thoughts on that matter, feel free to agree or disagree or whatever :)

LOVED your answer about Buck having experienced an abusive relationship before. I wouldn’t say it is canon because there was never any mention at all of a past relationship when it came to Abby but I can totally see it as an alternative story because it feels like 100% Buck

Oh yeah totally, none of my little blurbs are meant to be taken as canon, unless someone chooses to adopt them as their headcanons in which case I'm cool with that. That being said, just because no past relationships were brought up when he was with Abby doesnt mean they didn't exist. I dont think Abby was his first relationship, although she was likely his most serious. If that's not what you meant just ignore me lol

thoughts on if doug possibly goes after buck?

Personally I dont think it's likely that Doug would go after Buck, because I think hes a cowardly piece of shit who only hits people he sees as weaker than him. Buck going after Doug, on the other hand, is much more likely. And I think if he found him he would beat the ever living shit out of him.

Another possible scenario would be Doug going after Chimney because he sees him as a threat to his marriage and Chim doesn't appear all that tough. And if anybody hurts my Chimney, I Buck and Maddie will happily return the favour.

Basically I just want somebody to give Doug a taste of his own medicine.
