Hello! I haven’t posted here in a while. I changed my hair cut but it’s still PURPLE! My girlfriend and I are still together! Fourth anniversary is in December! So in love and it keeps getting better and deeper. It can be quite surprising at times. I feel things I’ve never felt. But I also feel things I never knew. I didn’t even know about some things let alone want them. That’s the stuff that made more wondrous all the hope I kept. And sometimes I didn’t have the strength to keep it. Let me tell you though, it can happen. So hang on to all the hope you can. Because sometimes what you’re hoping for finds you! And sometimes things you didn’t know you could want. Wondrous things. Be blessed my friends! 💜🫶🏼👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩

I had enough of hate. I had enough of discrimination. I had enough of everything that goes against peace, harmony and happiness. I want everyone who read this, share positive aspects in life starting on yourself. Even your enemies, be kind to them like you are kind to your friends. Because we are not here to hate one another. I feel like I’m missing out on Pride and that bothers me a lot. There are no events here or any that I could travel to right now. I have a real desire to be among “my people.” My current situation has me partly closeted for reasons that are up to no one’s scrutiny but my own. I’m out only to my close family and friends. I imagine at Pride I could walk around for a while, fully out, fully accepted. I realize that is an illusion, because unfortunately the LGBTQIA+ community is not without its bigots too. But I know that those of us who want to exist beyond tolerance, and live in acceptance and love for all people, must seek and find each other in all the spaces we can. We must continue to encourage each other and work together to help the world in the ways we can. And I think I would find people at Pride that I could be who I am with, and who I could connect with beyond that event. I just really need some friends who get me. Who understand where I am and what I’m going through. And as June slips by I feel like those connections are too. I need my people. I trust I will find you though. Until then my heart yearns. For you. For being out. For Pride.
