LOVERS TO LOVERS
What?
Not sure if I posted this yet... but it's the funniest bird beak ever. But look at the gorgeous feathers it has!
I am thinking very hard about how to make this for my early Halloween costume. I’ve got the wonderflex, which is what she says it is made out of. And I already have a heat gun. What I mostly need to figure out is how to shape it both well and without burning my face off when my artistic skill is fairly low.
I’m leaning toward getting a bunch of Floracraft bricks and trying to carve them into the right shape, then just kinda draping the wonderflex over it. My other thought is to get a big pack of the really narrow foam sheets and cut out the right shapes and just paste them together. I don’t think I love either method. I might get the cheap foam wig head too to melt the plastic in an ok face grip to start.
I am determined that I am going as fancy Friki, my favorite male harpy, this year. The trouble is that I am down to about two weeks to get it ready for the party.
The beak of a crow has such a beautiful shape! I want to make a sculpture of it sometime...!
These are macro shots of the crow that passed away in the morning..

The white stork’s long, dagger-like beak isn’t just for show—it’s perfect for snatching frogs, insects, and even small mammals from meadows and marshes.
