Okay so I told y'all I was going to show you the #birdbath #upcycled from a #vintagelamp Here it is! I hubby's mamma had this hideous lamp with the largest pleated barrel shade I had ever laid my eyes on. Let me tell ya this thing is heavy. But I absolutely loved the goddess part of the lamp. So I brought it home and took it apart to remove the wiring and the tall pipe thing that held the shade on. With the shade and lamp base it was probably almost three feet high. The shade was fades and stained. I wish I would have taken a picture of it...OMG I know I keep saying how bad it was but for real it was awful. Anyway I took it apart, had a plumber cut and retread the metal rod. I attached a clearance green low sided bowl to the top with some really wonderful two part adhesive!
