Sketch comic
hello!! what is your BirdBx Au from Cuphead about??
Well thats kinda hard to explain since I’m not fully done with the story yet. Basically its if Cuphead was in the world of the movie Bird Box. The movie is when supernatural creatures invade but nobody can actually see them. Until you directly look at them, if you look at them you will kill yourself. And since they’re invisible its hard to know where not to look hence why that had to give up the sense of sight. Birds seem to know when the creatures are near and get agitated when close. Those diagnosed as psychopaths are unaffected and try to force survivors to look. This story follows the cup brothers and their friends RootBeer and Radio. They live in an abandoned house on Isle 2 after a lot of the residents were wiped out. Radio is the oldest and looks after them and tries to keep them out of trouble but of course that doesn’t work and they still try to find some way to make trouble. They have a couple birds they carry in a box with them and a dragon pup they found who the boys begged to keep. There are a lot of holes still and I’m working on making a main antagonist so this is probably the best i can do for an explanation. Its kinda supposed to be a mix of horror and a slice of life kind of thing. Im sorry I’m very bad at explaining things thank you for asking though.
Lena idk if you ever watched Birdbox, but how long do you think the shepherds would survive in that if they were all holed up in a house together
Okay anon, this is a GREAT question because my #1 favorite movie genre is disaster movies with monsters and/or weird apocalypses, featuring a group of survivors/found family who are basically trapped together or forced to be with each other... so even though I'm pretty sure people hated Birdbox, I actually loved it! 😂And I love imagining the Shepherds in such scenarios, so let's give it a try!
I feel like the majority of the group would survive in the house for about a year, but would incur a lot of losses in order to get supplies and food as their stores dwindled! I think Blade, Trouble, Briony, and Ayla would ultimately end up sacrificing themselves in various scenarios in order to protect or safeguard the group; Shery would probably end up being killed on accident because that just seems to be her luck and I could totally see her being fooled by the pleas of a survivor outside trying to get in; Chase probably would have to end up sacrificing himself, but maybe not, just depends on the direness of their situation and where the house is located! Last ones standing would probably be Tallys, Red, Riel (he's the last last one standing because he's devising ways to cheat the system and beat the demon-monsters or whatever), Lavinet, Halek, possibly Chase, and Caine!
If Prihine is in the mix, I'd say cut the survivors and time in half, because intergroup conflict and infighting would probably arise much more frequently, and much faster... and I could see her doing something dumb like running away after a fight and necessitating someone to go after her!
If Croelle is in the mix, like, a lot of people are probably dead, but he redeems himself at the last minute by sacrificing himself for like Caine or some unlikely bond he's formed!
Anyway, I'd probably give them about a year in the house before they depleted the surrounding area and decided to move! Depending on who's left at that point, who knows their chances of survival...
Thanks for the fun question!
