Sometimes I feel a little silly drawing 2P!England, in a "has the fandom gone too far?" kind of way.

And then I remember that 2P!Nyo!England's design is canon. Himaruya designed it like that. Ribbons, blue bowtie, hair pins, puffy frilled sleeves and all.

2P!England's fanon design actually tones him down quite a bit.

Let the man accessorize! Or don't, actually. This is NOT how a grown 2000+ year old man who holds office should dress.

* obligatory disclaimer that i am aware the nyos are not 1:1 with our usual nations. i just feel like, compared to other fanon 2p! designs, england's doesn't resemble his nyo! base as much and is quite simplified. [this is not an attack on fanon, i will always love you 2pfandom we are comrades]

how would 2p italy in felicianos react if arthur started to show signs of being suspicious of his "off" behavior

2P!Italy would be confused (and maybe frustrated), because that would mean 2P!England was going against schedule. He's the one casting the spells for the whole 2P Takeover, so he's supposed to come last. Alternatively, he thinks it's just a side effect of the worlds merging – either way, 2P!Italy would be kinda weirded out!

Arthur, on the other hand, would be in a weird position where he's harboring a parasite that's really, really bad at keeping itself hidden (and it's allies) hidden. He'd suspect "Feliciano," of course, but his mind would be in such tatters he wouldn't be able to make a convincing case – especially not against 2P!Italy, who is actually doing a fine job of imitating his counterpart. Arthur and 2P!England would also constantly be clashing for control, so his (their?) behavior would be erratic, inconsistent, and super concerning to everyone else.

I love this in-between state (the moment of possession and confronation) where you force the 1P and 2P together into one body and mind. They, as living territories, are inherently arrogant beings who treasure their autonomy VERY greatly. Who gets to keep existing? Who gets the arms, the legs, the train of thought? In many ways, it's a war between two nations (who are actually the same nation)!

England doesn't have a mortal immune system, as it's mostly tied to his state's wellbeing. So he's fine. As for YOU... remember, they're made OF humans, not FOR humans, so steer clear.

On this note: technically, 2p!England can't be a cannibal since he's not ACTUALLY human. So really, he's more like a mimic boogeyman who opportunistically feeds on people by assuming their appearance! (Do NOT tell England this, he'll cry.)

My best advice as an old person in the hetalia fandom is that if you see someone being harmlessly wrong about your culture/nation, respond with kindness and grace. The barrier of entry of this fandom is getting really impossible if you cannot be new to your researching and build your meta/lore in a supportive and collaborative environment. Sometimes, the crash out you want to have on your blog has way more visibility than you think and it makes people not want to engage in your fave blorbos at all.

considering that human meat was what kept 2p england healthy(ish) and fed during his country's crisis, i definitely think he fed a sick and weak colony!america human meat to see if it would heal him too (maybe as a superstitious belief that nations draw strength from consuming it or something)

anyway to answer your question, no he didn't tell america what he was eating (not even as he asked for seconds and thirds, the poor boy had finally regained his appetite and england didn't want to spoil it)

of course he planned on telling him eventually but then like a couple centuries passed and he thought "well itd just be so awkward if i brought it up now, you know..."

so thats why 2p england gets a little sweaty whenever he cooks for america :)

Since we only really got sketches of the 2Ps without too much elaboration on their world, I used to describe the 2P universe as (in comparison to the 1P universe) fundamentally blank, grey, unfinished, and undetailed. Like a "sketch on cheap paper" as opposed to a real work of art, or some kind of bootleg offshoot world that, as Oliver explicitly declared in an old 2019 draft of mine, shouldn't even exist.

1P world was "The World." It's just... normal reality, as everyone knows it. 2P world was... (gestures) like when a file corrupts halfway through duplication. You just get an unfinished mess. (Not that the 2P nations even realize this, their broken world is all they've ever known. England only found out when he started peeking into the 1P world.)

Therefore, going to the 1P universe was like experiencing a new depth of reality, almost as if switching from 2D to 3D. England found the experience hypnotizing and incredible. But Japan... uh, he... got... overwhelmed, let's say?

I'm not sure how canon this is to current ASK2PS lore, since this concept is from 2019... but it's neat!
