Ants
The shrill shriek wakes Dick. He knows immediately that it’s Wally: the register is heigh enough to be a girl’s, but Dick is greatly acquainted with the sound. There was a point where they were staying in a leaky hotel room and Wally would squeak in his sleep whenever a drop hit him. Dick had been ready to strangle him from the other bed after three nights.
He would consider staying in bed and letting some other poor soul deal with whatever unfortunate situation the speedster’s midnight snack has evolved into but Wally is doubtless going to burst in the room in a moment or two anyway.
'ANTS!' Wally's shriek has morphed into actual words, so Dick at least has the chance to roll his eyes before he gets to the kitchen. And…
Oh. Wow. Maybe’s the timbre of Wally’s voice is justified.
It isn’t that Wally has accidentally ingested an insect or found a few wandering over his sandwich as Dick had imagined. The floor is covered in them.
'WHAT IS THIS?!' Wally is jumping from side to side. Either he's trying to squash them or avoiding standing on them altogether. Dick isn't sure; his feet are moving too fast to tell.
'An ant themed supervillain?' Dick suggests, lunging for the fire extinguisher. He doesn't really need to flip over the kitchen counter to do so, but it's late and he was woken up so he'll show off if he wants to. Wally is too busy creating a mini ant tornado with each foot to really notice.
'Ants as a distraction whilst a villain breaks in. Fireants to devour us. Genetically modified ants that inject us with a paralytic toxin. Ants equipped with video cameras to scout out our base.' All valid, utterly absurd suggestions on Dick's part.
Wally turns to him, wide eyed and inarticulate. ‘ANTS!’
So I'm watching "Ciel in Wonderland" and I'm cracking up every time the viscount calls Ciel "Robin" because all I can picture is the Viscount as Wally West and Ciel as Dick Grayson XD
Dick and Wally were willing to die together while fighting the enemy,
Jaime or Bart will die in the others' arms after fighting each other.
Will you marry me if I ask nicely? :p
