An Introduction to my ART!
I made this maybe about a month ago. I'm always improving!
for you @grounders-wife !!
inspiration at the cut
Cooked up something quick in the spirit of Mother's Day
grounder loves his wife
This was part of a comic I was working on roughly two months ago!
Context: Birdie, under the alias "Betty", goes on a "pseudo"-date with Grounder as a ploy to keep Sonic distracted while Scratch and Coconuts attempt, and fail, to set up a trap. Birdie and Grounder's method of distraction worked a bit too well! On the wrong audience.
I have the horrendous habit of forgetting to include the black tip on her beak in drawings.
Any headcanons for Grounder?
You know it! - Grounder is more intelligent than people give him credit for.
- Grounder experiences higher levels of empathy than the average individual. - He has "a fixer" mindset and is a nurturer by nature. He doesn't like it when people are fighting (specifically those closest to him), it puts him on edge. He sometimes becomes overwhelmed by the urge to set things right. - In his quarters he proudly displays his collection of rocks, crystals and geodes that he has harvested during his own expeditions. He also has a random egg amongst the collection. Nobody really knows why or what its origins are. He jokes that he's still waiting for it to hatch. - One of his biggest motivators for capturing Sonic is being able to live out a financially comfortable and peaceful retirement. - He enjoys being in nature and going for hikes, it sets a different pace that he enjoys. Occasionally, he may get stuck when venturing uneven terrain or off-roading, thus he decided to install a winch (another one of his own gadgets). Birdie will tie the end of the winch around her waist and begin to drag/pull him out. This is where she gets her core strength.
