just bought wade a HUGE cage. its the a&e double flight cage here which means that, all together on this one little bird, I have spent about $350 on bird and necessary supplies.
also with that cage, in the future, we are planning on getting him companion birds. we just didn’t want a bird related to him as a companion in case of inbred babies. so introducing them together would be super easy with a divided flight cage of that size!!!!
i really hope i’m doing right by this bird, everyone has different opinions and i only want to give him the very best i possibly can.
BIRB! He is 100% friendlier than I expected him to be right out of the gate. As in, he's preening on our fingers, learning 'step up' really quick, letting us pet him, preening our hair, and being surprisingly quiet. I'm not 100% on his gender though so I might have them test that at the vet. His name is Wade. He is Birdpool.
