I was rewatching for the millionth time last night when I noticed- that’s not a crow. Despite the name, despite the plot. The film and the sequels all involve ravens while shooting. They’re generally larger, have a more distinct tail and larger beak which is more likely to be covered by feathers. Crows have a smaller beak and it’s usually bare/less or a tuft over it. Ravens also tend to be silky/ reflective compared to the more matte color of crows.
I looked it up and it is in-fact true. They used 5. They were chosen over real crows for aesthetic reasons (larger, cool/powerful beak) and that crows , while being pretty intelligent aren’t the easiest to work with.
Magic you’re doing amazing sweetie. 💕
I didn’t know if this was public knowledge I just haven’t noticed before I started looking more into crows? But they’re actually smart, as most average people don’t know the difference.
