If you are available at 1 pm tomorrow -- please help us lift up the metal ramps and box behind Faith Skate Supply and move it 3 blocks away to the 1st Ave DIY spot. Unfortunately our landlord has decided that the parking lot behind Faith is needed for ... well parking 🤷‍♂️ Anyway, it will make 1st Ave that much better and we will be fixing a couple of the Battleground ramps with some metal sheeting as well. Anyone wanna come help out here are a couple of needs... weed eater, water, cinderblock, rebar, drills, garbage bags, beer, shade, etc... come out and lend a hand at least lifting or picking up litter if you can.. Thx family! Side note: The Zero skateboards team will be here and gonna have a BBQ skate jam with them at 1st Ave on the 25th. A huge a thank You for the support we had in March for our Whole Foods "Give Back Day"!!! The funds are being deposited into the Birmingham Skatepark Fund via Askate Foundation at Wells Fargo Bank. With Askate's support these funds are a tax deductible donation and can be appropriated directly toward construction of a future skatepark. We have a tentative approved site and we need to raise more money! Every bit helps!! There is still a long way to go, but with partners like @wholefoodsbham and others-- we can make it work!
