Soul types in Fear & Hunger

In the Fear & Hunger series, human souls can be of diverse types. They are decided at the time of one's birth, and are indicators of how one's personality and life will be like, oftentimes being the source of a person's skills. Soul types are the Fear & Hunger equivalent to real-life zodiac signs, though birth signs are still mentioned and confirmed to exist. Soul types are not the same as unique souls, which are for the most part unlockable accessory items that give certain stat bonuses and special status effects to the wearer. The Ancient One soul, held by the girl, is unique as well and will not be listed in this article for that particular reason.

Because I think the concepts of Birthsigns in the Elder Scrolls are cool, I've been thinking about how TERRIBLE some of them must be for parenting.

This is assuming all people have Birthsign powers (which would be so cool and that's what I'm doing in my fic, actually, maybe all of them, I'm not sure. I really like Oblivion's Birthsigns)

If your kid is born in May or February (and God forbid your child accidentally gets born under the Serpent), you've got a child that has some pretty terrible parenting impediments.

Hell, having a kid that can just unlock a door once a day is scary. Kids under the Steed would be really fast, which could be an issue too. Also, imagine your child uses like, the Ritual sign's power and just passes out because they used up all their magicka. Scary.

It makes me wonder if some people tried to have kids specifically not in "difficult power months" or something.

In your experience (And, obviously, this will differ by individual), which birthsigns get along best, and which ones get along the least?

I do not think there is a good answer for this, truth be told, I am not of he opinion that birthsigns affect character traits that much. Certainly there could be statistics made, but correlation does not mean causation.

However, if I speak solely from my experience, the Lover does nto get along with any signs, not even their own.

A friend of mine asked if the tes birthsigns have birth stones, like in real life, so I made a list of what could possibly be the stones : )

The Warrior - Ruby

The Steed - Alexandrite

The Lady - Spinel

The Lord - Bloodstone

For most of them I looked up actual birthstones and used those, but for some I just chose random ones.

I tried to give them specific colors, like the Warriors charges are red, the Thiefs are green and the Mages are blue, though some are not fully that color.

And I imagine that maybe the stone for the Serpent changes every time it shows up on the sky.
