MY BISEXUAL HEART -
Bisexual culture is being attracted to all five of the Bohemian Rhapsody leads at once

To celebrate Walt Whitman's birthday on May 31st, let's look at some of his more bi poetry. | Jennie Roberson

Bisexual Thoughts
Going out with someone: “Wow things are going great, I hope he/she accepts me as a Bisexual man/woman. Will he/she break up with me if I tell him/her about myself?”
Struggling to come out to your parents: “How do I explain this? Do I tell them that the birds and the bees are all the same to me? What if they tell me it’s just a phase? What if they don’t understand and tell me to pick a side? What if they say there’s still hope, if and only if, I go straight? What happens if they reject me and/or call me disgusting?”
Self doubt: “Maybe I am just going through a phase? Maybe I’m just gay/lesbian and using bisexuality as a cover to fully admit that? Is it okay to love one gender more than the other? Is something wrong with me? Maybe there is no such thing as a Bisexual.”
Over thinking: “If I were to marry a person of the opposite sex, I would feel accepted by my parents; somewhat. If I were to marry a person of the same sex, I’d would be just as happy; but I wouldn’t see many people from my side of the family. Would marrying someone of the opposite sex or the same sex exclude my identity of being bisexual, to just being straight or gay? Why don’t gay/lesbian people understand my sexuality? Are we or aren’t we a community? Why am I invalid, immoral, invisible and irrelevant? Why do both heterosexual people and homosexual people think so badly of bisexual/pansexual people? Why are there so many sexualities?”
Me: “Fuck all of y’all, I am what I am; and I fucking love it.”
Hi, I'm just wondering how you knew you were bisexual? Im really confused and dont know what to do.
the main thing was that i realised that if heterosexuality wasnt so ingrained in society and children, i mightve dated or had intimacy with girls in the past.
personally ive had romantic and intimate relationships with men. but i realised that i always check out females in real life and on tv. and i would have expressed these views if homosexuality wasnt shunned or at least not discussed (particularly when i was younger). a large aspect of my realisation was a recognition that bisexuality doesnt have to be exactly the same amount of attraction to men and women. i am both sexually and romantically attracted to men. and sexually attracted to girls but not so much romantically. your bisexuality can be whatever it means to you. and you should feel no pressure to identify or not identify with the label. sexuality is fluid and strange and sometimes im still confused.
I hope that helped anon xxxx if you have any other questions or want me to clarify please ask
bi/poly/pan/ people pls tell me things that make you happy/confident/validated/represented in your sexuality im really in a mood to hear positive things. (so you can answer)?
